This document outlines a lesson plan on world cultures for 12th grade students. The objectives are for students to recognize different cultures, customs, languages, and strengthen collaboration and respect. The lesson will take place over 7 periods using videos, games, and social media to teach vocabulary related to world cultures. Students will work in groups on a project researching a country's characteristics and defending why it is best for fighting poverty. They will submit a written report, give a presentation, and participate in a debate.

13.  Objective of the lesson:
 The students will be able to apply all the contents
seen by preparing a project.
 Contents:
 Customs and world cultures vocabulary.

 Use of simple present passive to talk about traditional things

14.  First, the students listen to teacher while he is giving
the instructions for the project.
 The evaluation of this project consists of three parts:
 Report
 Presentation
 Debate

15.  In groups of three the students, they will have to prepare a
project in which they will have to choose a country. It does
not matter from where. After that they will have to
research about its mains characteristics, considering raw
material, exportations, importations, tourism and main
resources, using as a guide the primary source.
 The project must contain clear objectives and a
bibliography that support your research and defend it.
After completing it they will have to answer one question
about: “why the country that they chose is the best for
fighting poverty?” That question must be included in the
project.
 Students can use the platforms from the previous classes
for the development of their project.

16.  For the presentation they will have hand in the
project and present the summary of it on the
platform prezi. Or on the hand they can choose
voicethread.
 In the presentation must be included the objectives
of the project. While the other groups watch the
presentation they will have to take notes in order to
be prepared for the debate. In which groups at
random will be chosen to develop the debate.
