What are the characteristics of people
who are “natural sharers in the divine

Ephesians, vividly depicts our
human vocation to be “sharers in
the divine nature;” through Christ
we have access in one Spirit to the
Father; so we are no longer
strangers and aliens but citizens
with the saints and members of the
household of God, growing into a
holy temple, a dwelling place for
God.”

Melissa's Coaching Studio, LLC | Awe. Share it Wisely. | #WCD2016
20. 1. Listen
 When you listen on social channels, you are
following a narrative, often with collaboration
from others. This narrative is revealed in images,
sounds, and text.
 You can strengthen your listening skills by taking
notes on image, video, or text posts, where you
observe how the community creates meaning.
Practice identifying the following.
 Values
 Subjects
 Emotions
Melissa's Coaching Studio, LLC | Awe. Share it Wisely. | #WCD2016
21. 2. Ask Questions
 Be curious without “leading the witness.”
 A powerful question is less than seven words:
 What might X look like?
 What concerns you the most about Y?
 How can we find out more about Z?
 What else?
 What do you make of it all?
 If you had a free choice in the matter, what
would you do?
 What options can we create?
Melissa's Coaching Studio, LLC | Awe. Share it Wisely. | #WCD2016
22. 3. Inspire with Visuals
 You need a quality, free design tool that is easy
to use. And, allows you to create templates.
 Canva.com
 You need professional photography that is free to
use.
 Unsplash.com
 Public Domain.org
 Your archives
 Pope Francis provides the theme: Holy Year of Mercy.
 Now, create an editorial calendar.
Melissa's Coaching Studio, LLC | Awe. Share it Wisely. | #WCD2016
23. 4. Enlist Social Evangelists
 Identify people who are professional social
media marketers and ask them for help.
 Organize people in teams around applications
(Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) Establish
team captains.
 Team captains establish an editorial calendar
and assignments.
 Encourage, support, and acknowledge
everyone’s participation.
Melissa's Coaching Studio, LLC | Awe. Share it Wisely. | #WCD2016
24. 5. Use Goals and Metrics
 Define your main objective, then break it down
into measurable steps.
 Almost all social channels (Facebook, YouTube,
Instagram, your blog, etc.) provide information
(analytics) about audience engagement.
 Manage your expectations. Review and discuss
the results with your team. Keep refining your
strategy.

25. Summary
 World Communication Day 2016 is an opportunity to
reflect and act on the question: How are members
of our community using social media effectively?
 Social media are forms facilitating communication.
Relationships live in the process of communication,
as it was in the beginning, and is today.
 People are listening, but they are listening in
different ways.
