Via is a minor and dynamic but flat character from the story. She is the sister of the main character August, and dates Justin while befriending Miranda. Over time, Via changes from loving August to not wanting her friends to see her with him, making her a dynamic character. However, she remains a flat character because the story provides little information about her thoughts and feelings beyond her relationship with August.
