Auggie is a deformed boy born with many anomalies who is the main character of the book Wonder. He struggles to make friends due to his appearance and people making fun of him. His family, including his sister Via and parents Isabela and Nate, support him but also struggle with decisions about his education and socialization. The book is about Auggie navigating school and relationships as someone with physical disabilities.

3. Augusts famimily
Auggie is a deformed kid he was born with a lot of
anomalies. Because of his anomalies people make
fun of him often. Auggie dose not have a lot of
friends. Auggie character shows bravery and loyalty.
In the future Auggie also got hearing aids.

4. AUGUSTS FAMILY
VIA-via Is Auggie sister. She cares about Auggie
a lot. Via Bose to Faulkner high school. Via
friends have changed a lot over the summer.
Via’s friends don‘t really talk to her anymore. Via
also has a boyfriend named Justin.

5. AUGUSTS FAMILY
GRANES-when Auggie was in surgery for a long
period of time via stayed with grane’s. While via
and granes were watching the sun set granes
said that via was her favorite. When Auggie and
via got home shortly after granes passed away.

6. AUGUST FAMILY
IZZABELLA- Izzabella is Auggie and via mom.
When she and her husband first talked about
Auggie going to school she didn’t want him to
but later changed her mind.

7. AUGUST FAMILY
Nate-Nate is Auggie and via’s dad. Nate wanted
Auggie to go to school but later changed his mind
before he left. He once said.
“He is like lamb to the slaughter” which scared
Auggie before he decided to go to school.

8. August is a major character, The book
Wonder is mainly about Auggie and his
abilities and disabilities. Through out the
book Auggie makes friends and also still has
enemies(Julian) through out the book we
learn that we shouldn’t judge people by the
way they look.

9. Auggie is a round character because the book tells a lot
about him. It tells about his school, family, friends ,disabilities
and anomalies. This is why we know Auggie is a round
character.
