Via is the main character's sister in the story. She is protective of her brother Auggie, who has Treacher Collins Syndrome, which affects his face. Throughout the story, Via remains protective of Auggie, though she shows it less overtly over time. Via is considered a minor character in the story compared to Auggie, and a static and round character, as her protective personality remains consistent while also being fully developed.

2. Our character name is:
Via

3. Via has a brother name August (Auggie) who
has Treacher Collins Syndrome. A syndrome
which affects the face. Via’s mom and dad are
Nate and Isabella Pullman, Via also had a dog
named Daisy. Via is currently in a relationship
with Justin, a guy from school who liked Via a
lot. Via is also kind to all the other characters in
the story. Via is involved in acting in the school
play.

4. We would consider Via a minor character
because Via is in some of the story (here and
there). Unlike August, who is in most of the
story, Via gets brought up sometimes out of
her section of where Via tells about her life.

5. We would consider Via a static character. In the
beginning of the story, Via was really protective of Auggie
because people would make fun of how is face looked
and didn’t want to look at him. The middle and end of the
story she was still protective of him but didn’t let it show as
much as it did in the beginning of the story.

6. We would consider Via a round character
because you can really develop what Via feels
and what personality Via has. Via is protective
and cares about other people and if they are
getting picked on like Auggie was, Via would step
in and help them out.
