Auggie Pullman is the main character of the book Wonder. He has Treacher Collins Syndrome which affects his face. The book follows Auggie through his fifth grade year and how he survives despite how others see his appearance. Auggie changes from feeling heavyhearted about his face to feeling more confident by the end of the book as he makes friends and fits into his new school. He is described as a round character because the author fully develops his personality, thoughts, and feelings over the course of the story.
