This document provides character analysis for Justin from the book Wonder. It describes that Justin is Via's boyfriend. He enjoys playing the fiddle and acting. His tics lessen around Via because he is happy. Justin dislikes bullies. He is portrayed as a minor, static but round character who helps move the story forward regarding reactions to August's condition.

3. JUSTIN HAS A RELATIONSHIP WITH VIA BECAUSE THEY ARE BOYFRIEND AND GIRLFRIEND.
 Enjoys to play the fiddle
 He Also enjoys being in plays, because Justin had a
major role in the play “Our Town”.
 Justin often has tics when he is nervous but
when Justin is at Via’s house, they stop because
he is happy.
 Justin has an aversion for kids who bully August or who
bully in general.
 Justin has a mother and father but they’re divorced.
 Justin has bad writing skills because he never capitalizes
his letters that need to be and uses no quotation marks

4. MAJOR OR MINOR CHARACTER?
 Justin is a minor character because he interacts
with Via because they are dating and also spend
a lot of time together. Justin also helps the story
move along because it adds to the fact of how
people react to August’s condition because in
the chapter Olivia’s Brother, Justin says, “the first
time i met Olivia’s brother i have to admit i’m
totally taken by surprise.” This is why I think Justin is
a minor character.

5. STATIC OR DYNAMIC
CHARACTER?
 Justin is a static character because he does not
change much over the corse of the story that he takes
part in. Justin is the same at the beginning of the book
as he is at the end. This is why I think Justin is a static
character.

6. FLAT OR ROUND CHARACTER?
 Justin is a round character because we know a lot
about him for example, we know that Justin has tics,
likes to play the fiddle, and likes Via. This is why I think
Justin is a round character.
