Women In Society Essay
Crafting an essay on the subject of women in society can be a challenging endeavor that requires
a thoughtful approach and a deep understanding of various aspects. The complexity arises from
the need to navigate through the multifaceted nature of women's roles, contributions, challenges,
and the evolving dynamics within society.
Firstly, delving into the historical context demands meticulous research to trace the trajectory of
women's status, rights, and societal expectations. Analyzing this progression is essential for
providing a comprehensive understanding of the struggles and triumphs women have faced over
time.
Addressing contemporary issues further complicates the task, as the essay must grapple with the
complexities of gender inequality, systemic biases, and societal expectations. This involves a
nuanced exploration of the various spheres where women play crucial roles, such as the
workplace, politics, education, and family, among others.
Balancing perspectives is another challenge. While highlighting the advancements made in
empowering women, it is equally important to acknowledge persisting inequalities and the
existence of various forms of discrimination. Striking this balance requires a delicate touch to
ensure a fair and unbiased portrayal.
Additionally, the diversity of women's experiences across cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds,
and ethnicities adds another layer of complexity. A comprehensive essay should strive to be
inclusive and recognize the intersectionality of gender with other social factors.
Crafting a compelling narrative that engages readers and provokes thoughtful reflection is a
crucial aspect. This involves honing one's writing skills to convey ideas clearly, persuasively, and
empathetically, fostering a connection with the audience.
In conclusion, writing an essay on the role of women in society is indeed a challenging task that
requires a deep understanding of historical contexts, a nuanced approach to contemporary issues,
a balanced presentation of perspectives, and effective storytelling. However, the importance of
addressing such a vital topic makes the effort worthwhile, as it contributes to fostering
awareness and promoting meaningful conversations about gender equality and women's
empowerment.

Negative Effects Of Cocaine
All drugs affect the body differently, however, some drugs come with a high number
of negative effects. Alcohol is one of the most popular drugs in America, alcohol
impacts the brain and body greatly. Furthermore, cocaine is usually used in clubs
because an individual feels good after using cocaine, but cocaineis highly addictive
and a very dangerous drug. Cocaine is an addictive drug and it affects how the brain
generally functions. Cocaine gets involved with the reward system in the brain.
Cocaine has an effect on three neurotransmitters which are dopamine, serotonin, and
norepinephrine. What dopamine is involved in is the feeling of dependency,
serotonin causes feelings of confidence, and norepinephrine increases or lowers an
individuals energy level. What cocaine does in the brain is, it won t allow the
reabsorption of these three chemicals, it does this by binding to the transporters,
these transporters are in charge of removing high amounts of these three
neurotransmitters from the synaptic gap. Since cocaine binds to the transporters
the neurotransmitters can no longer by reabsorbed and this leads to a high level of
these neurotransmitters in the synapses ( Cocaine Addiction and... ). Having a
high concentration of dopamine leads to higher feelings of pleasure and reward,
this leads the brain to think that cocaine isn t dangerous. People that continue to
use cocaine get used to high levels of these neurotransmitters and always want to
have elevated levels because it causes them pleasure, that s how addiction happens.
Furthermore, the frontal cortex is what makes us reject pleasure if we know the
outcome won t be positive. Cocaine addicts can no longer rely on the frontal
cortex because this area becomes damaged when someone is addicted to cocaine (
Cocaine Addiction and... ). Lastly, cocaine also affects the amygdala and
hippocampus, these both help an individual remember what led to the satisfaction
they felt. When someone uses cocaine, the amygdala and hippocampus create
memories of people and places that are connected to the drug and also memories of
the pleasure. If the individual is with the people or at the same place where they felt
pleasure it will bring back memories and an urge to
Nores vs. Greek Essay
Nores vs. Greek
Greek mythology and Roman mythology are almost identical. This is an accepted
fact, as it is widely known that the Romans stole the Greek myths. However, it is
very interesting to note that the mythology of the Vikings (Norse) has many
similarities with the Greek myths. These myths are, by no means, identical to the
Greek ones (like the Roman ones are), but there are very distinct commonalities
between the two. I see two possible reasons for this besides pure coincidence.
The first has to do with the fact that Norse myths were codified during the Viking
era: 780 1070. This gives the Norsemen many centuries to become exposed to the
Greek (or Roman) myths. The Vikings did travel as far east as the Caspian sea, which

The gods and goddesses are powerful beings capable of super human powers, but
nevertheless are characters fraught with very human frailties and flaws. In this way
they created gods that had similarities with the common man in the society. This
made the gods more tangible and easier to identify with. I think that this was
necessary because they were not yet at the societal maturity level to have a single
god on a cosmic plane. Most of the comparisons will be examining the similarities
between major Greek and Norse gods, as well as creatures, stories and specific
symbols which are featured in the mythologies. Some of the gods do not have direct
counterparts (Thor, Athena and Loki). However, I will provide possible similarities
within the respective mythologies.
ASGARD Asgard is sometimes known as Asgarth. It is the realm of the gods and
the home of both the Aesir and Vanir. Is is ruled by Odin, the leader of the Norse
deities. It is located in the heavens, but is connected to earth by a bridge, known as
Bifrost, sometimes referred to as a rainbow. There is also a route from Asgard to
the underworld, the domain of Hel. Valhalla, a hall within Asgard, was the palace for
fallen kings, warriors who had died in battle and heroes.
MT. OLYMPUS Mount Olympus was the home of the Greek gods. It was chosen as
their home because of its altitude, for Zeus, the king of the gods, was associated with
the sky. Within the mythology, Mt. Olympus was large, foreboding
Analysis Of I Don t Have A Mama
1. See, I said, you don t have any family and neither do I. I ve got the preacher, of
course. But I don t have a mama. I mean I have one, but I don t know where she is.
She left when I was three years old. I can t hardly remember her. And I bet you don
t remember your mama much either. So we re almost like orphans pg 21. Opal say
this to Winn Dixie when Opal takes him into their home and considers him a family
member. The quote makes the image of her and Winn Dixie s lives very lonely
and sad. This makes me think she has no one to talk to and that her father is just
there. Why doesn t she count her father as family? The image makes it look like
her father is not emotionally connected to her and she need more love in her life.
The reason why I can connect and relate to the book is because I only have a mother. I
grew up in a single parenthousehold. My father pasted away when I was Twelve
years old. I didn t even know my father that well even in those Twelve years. I can
relate with Opal not being able to recall anything about a parent. My mother doesn t
talk about my father so it is hard to know things and to know what and how she is
thinking. Opal can relate to this because her father doesn t talk much about her
mother either. Whenever my mother does say something I will keep it in my
memories forever because it s the only things I have to hold on to about my father.
Opal did the same thing when her father told her ten things about her mother. Opal

Gun Laws And Gun Violence In The United States
Gun violence is a serious matter in the united states. In this essay I will tell you
about gun laws and gun death rates, what death rates numbers are and what they
include, what states have the highest and lowest death rates, what the Brady Act is
and what it enforces and does for gun laws, what gun regulations are revoked and
overlooked, how to make it harder to get guns could save lives, how the National
Rifle Association say gun regulations have no effect on crime, and can particular laws
help with reducing gun related deaths.
A death rate number is the number of deaths per 100,000 people (Robertson, Lori)
Firearm deaths include homicide, suicide, accidents, and legal intervention. (gun laws
vs. gun deaths) Suicides make up more than half of the total gun related deaths in the
united states. These are the amount of how much each type of deaths makeup suicide
(63.5), homicide (32.6), accidental (1.7), legal intervention (1.4), undetermined (0.8).
(Gun laws vs. Gun deaths)
States death rates vary only if they have strict gun laws/ regulations or not. From a
study in 2013 the top ten states with the highest firearm deaths rates were Alaska
(19.8), Louisiana (19.3), Mississippi (17.8), Alabama (17.6), Arkansas (16.8),
Wyoming (16.7), Montana (16.7), Oklahoma (16.5), New Mexico (15.5), and
Tennessee (15.4). (Robertson, Lori) The south is a high risk for gun violence. The
states with lowest are Hawaii (5.3), California (6.4), Minnesota (6.5), Connecticut
(6.6).
Relationship Between Caesar And Octavian
Octavian, the sole heir and successor of Julius Caesar overcame significant
impediments in his rise to becoming Rome s first emperor. Aged only nineteen at the
time of Caesars assassination in March 44BC Octavian s intelligence and fortitude
proved successful over the barriers of youth, inexperience and the political
opposition that he faced. Octavian went on to have one of the most famous political
careers of all time to defeat the Senate, Marc Antony, and gain sole control over the
Roman Empire.
Before Caesars assassination Caesar and Octavian had built a powerful relationship
that proved instrumental in Octavian s career. Octavian learned a great deal about

Antony s actions after Caesars death solidified his expectations of inheriting power
as he moved to take control of Caesars assets, and publically read his will and he
thought himself to be the strongest contender to carry on Caesars political legacy.
To assert political power in the Roman Empire Octavian s first action was to gain
loyalty among the Roman people and build his reputation. In Illyricum at the time
of Caesars assassination he took with him a small group of friends that went to the
south of Italy to visit Caesars allies and clients. Whilst there he assessed the
position in Rome and the best course of action he could take to gain control. Once
in Rome he concentrated on commemorating Caesars death and seeking vengeance
against his assassins which was in contrast with Antony s views. Octavian then
began to build a relationship with the Roman mob, they were one of Caesars main
power bases and very influential in the Roman Empire. To build a positive
relationship he first paid the legacies that were left to the people of Rome by
Caesar. As the processing of Caesars will was held up and Antony refused to return
Caesars money Octavian pad the people out of his own pocket. This action gained
loyalty and began to pave the way for a constructive relationship between Octavian
and the Roman people.
The next action that Octavian took was to undermine his political opponents, he
wanted to achieve a high political position in Rome and eliminate Marc Antony. To do
Atomoxetine Research Paper
Atomoxetine Stimulant medication for ADHD has evidence for safety and efficacy,
however this does not rule out 30% of the population that does not respond to
stimulants. Non stimulants are very useful in these situations. Atomoxetine (ATM) is
a norepinephrine transport inhibitor and was the first non stimulant to be approved
for use in ADHD. The daily recommended dose for children is 1.4mg/kg. The exact
mechanism of action is unknown for ATM, however research suggests it is a
selective inhibitor of presynaptic NOR transporters, therefore inhibiting reuptake of
norepinephrine. Primarily, the CYP2D6 isoenzyme pathway hepatically metabolizes
ATM and undergoes oxidation, forming the active metabolite 4 hydroxatomoxetine.

The Texas Horned Lizard Essay
The Texas horned lizard, Phrynosoma cornutum, is a species in the lizard family,
Phrynosomatidae, which has ten genera and a diverse group of over 125 different
species (Hammerson 2007; Cossel Jr. 1997). Lizards in this family can be found in
Mexico, Panama, most areas of the United States and parts of Canada (Heying
2003). Phrynosomatids range in a variety of forms, but are most commonly
distinguished by their small size (less than 10 cm long), rough and keeled scales,
spikes on their bodies, and the fusion of the sides of their teeth to the sides of their
inner jawbones, known as pleurodont teeth (Heying 2003). The thirteen species in the
horned lizardgenus, Phrynosoma, can be identified more specifically by their
flattened bodies... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It has developed highly efficient mechanisms for collecting water on the ground and
moisture in the air and transporting it across its skin to its mouth (Map 2010). The
Texas horned lizard has hinged scales, which are interconnected to a system of
tubular canals located in the thin keratin layer of its skin (Sherbrooke et al 2007).
When water or moisture comes into contact with the its scales, capillary forces
pull water into the lizard s tubular canals, which is then transported to the mouth
for consumption (Sherbrooke et al 2007). The lizard s hinged scales have also
adapted a greater efficiency of absorbing water by increasing their surface area,
which allows for more water to be absorbed and transported at once (Sherbrooke et
al 2007). Furthermore, the lizard has adapted a buccal pumping mechanism in its
mouth, which allows it to pump a constant flow of water into its mouth to drink
(Map 2010; Sherbrooke et al 2007). It has modified structures around its mouth that,
combined with certain tongue and jaw movements, allows it to lower the water
pressure and pull a constant flow of water through its tubular canals and directly into
its mouth (Map 2010; Sherbrooke et al 2007). The Texas horned lizardalso exhibits
behavioral adaptations that have increased its water absorbing efficiency. To help
increase the capture of water from its scales, the lizard lowers its head and body to
the ground and sticks out its legs to increase the surface area of its body in
Human Story In Life Of Pi
Have you ever been stranded in the middle of the ocean with a 450 pound adult
bengal tiger? Well according to Pi Patel he has and survived nearly 300 days in that
predicament. In the book Life of Pi, Yann Martel s character Piscine Molitor Pi Patel
survives a shipwreck and ends up on a lifeboat with a variety of animals one of which
being a bengal tiger. The story starts out with Pi telling the author he can make him
believe in God with his story. Throughout the story Pi tells a great tale of his
experiences on the lifeboat with the tiger but the only thing is that s exactly what it
is, a tale. The real story comes at the end of the book when two Japanese men
question Pi about the sinking of the Tsimtsum and Pi tells a different story because
the men did not believe the animal one. The second story has humans instead of
animals therefore making it the more reasonable story. So the human story is real
because it is the more feasible option, being alone for a very extended amount of
time can cause a person to lose their sanity, and some of the things that Pi mentioned
were a little far fetched.
The human story is the all around most reasonable story obviously. There is no
way that Pi could survive nearly 300 days with such a big predator. Also being on
a lifeboat with very limited resources it is clear that a bengal tiger would take
advantage of Pi being there and kill him. Like stated in the book animals do not think
about what they are doing, I don t think about it.
The Benefits Of Animal Assisted Therapy
Today there is debate surrounding if therapy animals are really therapy or just pets.
A simple definition of animal assisted therapy or AAT is therapy with animals
(commonly cats or dogs) as a form of treatment. According to Rodriguez (2016) in her
article titled Animal Assisted Therapy Linked to Psychological Benefits she explains
In terms of specific mental health benefits, studies in the last few years have shown
that AAT may improve outcomes and reduce various symptoms for people with
depression, anxiety, dementia, loneliness and more. It has been found to be effective
across multiple settings and demographics, including autistic children in the
classroom, adolescents in a residential care home and older adults in nursing homes.

On November 22, 1963 President John F. Kennedy was attending a parade in
Dallas, Texas. During this parade President Kennedy was traveling in a 1961
convertible Lincoln Continental limousine with the top down. President Kennedy
was traveling in the third row passenger side seat of the vehicle, seated to his left

During this parade President Kennedy and Governor Connally and were shot while
traveling through Delany Plaza at approximately 1230 hours. President Kennedy
was struck by two bullets one in the back of the head and one in the rear of his
neck. President Kennedy succumbed to these gunshot wounds and was pronounced
dead at 1300 hours. Governor Connally was struck by one bullet in the back.
Governor Connally survived his injuries despite having a clasp lung. Lee Harvey
Oswald was the primary suspect of this shooting. Due to an admittedly flawed
investigation and conflicting witness statements this has given birth to one of the
largest conspiracy topics in United States history.

Taking a Look at Mental Disorders
Mental disorders hold negative assumptions, but yet are the least understood.
Society seems to give little attention to the issues that surround someone with a
mental disorder, which may be because we don t understand this population. This
article urges that this has become an issue in the society. While we tried to
deinstitutionalize those with metal disorders and place them back into society, it
appears as if this might have been the proper action. Suggestions like utilizing
group homes and funding treatment that cares for their needs would be useful
improvements. This article insists that maybe we need to put more of our tax
dollars toward creating more beds in the hospitals or group homes, screening for
signs of mental disorders, and providing families with services. Houston would
have flourished if other living arrangements and therapy options were available at
his fingertips. In addition, the article is trying to raise awareness. These kinds of
situations can be avoided if proper care and treatment for an individual occurs like
we saw with Terri.
Referring to lecture, Schizophrenia interferes with daily functioning like caring for

Suicide Squad Essay
Despite its highly anticipated and long awaited debut for fans, the DC Comics
motion picture Suicide Squad was annihilated by countless movie critics. One critic
went for the jugular and calls the film, ...a tired image, a stale and meaningless stab
at grandeur (Lawson, Suicide Squad Isn t Even the Good Kind of Bad ). Grandeur ?
What were these critics expecting to see? There was never any misrepresentation.
The movie was not made with any hopes to win an Oscar or a SAG nomination,
nevertheless, for what it is; the filmhit its mark (no Deadshot pun intended). At best,
it may receive accolades at the MTV Movie Awards and more than likely, the film s

Business Forecast
Abstract
This Paper examines and compares various forecasting techniques used for qualitative
and quantitative business forecasting and their use in Firstlogic Inc., to forecast the
demand under conditions of uncertainty. Time series and Delphi forecasting methods
are considered for this research to evaluate their ability to make effective decisions
regarding the future.
Business Forecasting
Business forecasting is the process of studying historical performance for the
purpose of using the knowledge gained to project future business conditions so that
decisions can be made today that will aid in the achievement of established goals.

This group then feeds back the responses to other members of the group, while
never giving away the identity of the response. The experts are then asked to respond
again, after reviewing the responses of other respondents. This process may continue
until a consensus is reached among the group. The group may be united to form a
final consensus (Namvar, 2000, p.8). Time Series Forecasting Method
Time series techniques are the most popular quantitative method. These techniques
use statistical methods for projecting from historical data. Quantitative techniques
are preferred when appropriate data are available. The main assumption is that the
historical pattern will continue into the future. The two main types of time series
forecasting are average smoothing and exponential smoothing. The moving
average is simply a series of arithmetic averages. Predicting sales for next year is
simple. The actual sales for a certain number of years is added, and then divided by
the number of years used to get the moving average. A weighted moving average is
obtained by assigning a specific weight to previous years. The sum of all weights
must equal one. Recent years are given a higher weight (Namvar, 2000, p.13).
Exponential smoothing is simply a subtype of the weighted moving average. A new
forecast is a weighted sum of actual variables (usually sales) in the current year and
the weighted forecast of
Ancient Egyptian Afterlife Essay
The Ancient Egyptian Afterlife Introduction If one were a poor ancient Egyptian,
for one s funeral one would be thrown out into a dessert pit where you stay and
preserve forever. The Egyptians are the one s that built the pyramids to celebrate
the afterlife. The afterlife could or couldn t be the last stage of life judging by your
good or bad deeds and then the God s would decide the fate for the afterlife. The
ancient Egyptiansalso took their afterlife very seriously.
Religious Ceremony The ancient Egyptians believe in the afterlife because they know
that it is important to their religion. Rob Attar says, The death celebrations were
important for the Egyptians because it was important for the God s . The ancient
Egyptians think that the rituals were important or they would be punished by the
God s. Living relatives were expected to the tomb occasionally and bring food and
recite prayers, The Ancient Egyptian Afterlife states. That was important to their
religion because if they didn t treat it right the religious afterlife wouldn t be nice to
them, or their family s. The ancient Egyptians celebrated their afterlife with pride and
determination.

the history of China (Liu, 1). This natural disaster, like other big disasters, was

The media usually frame the story for the public to understand all these events.
Through framing, they highlight some of the issues to capture the attention of the
audience in an individual occurrence (Liu, 8). The theory describes framing in two
ways, the media frame, and the audience frame. According to Gitlin media frame
helps the journalist in recognition, interpretation, and dissemination of the
information. On the other hand, the audience frames are the patterns of cognition and
description of events and idea that news anchors develop in the mind of the
spectators. Frame theory argues that media frames impact the way of thinking in the
audience by emphasizing on some areas of events. They either amplify or shrink the

They are also not willing to protect their own children for fear of upsetting the other
characters in the stories. Mrs. Hutchinson points the finger at her two children
because they did not draw from the box. She puts them in harm s way to save her
husband, which is similar to Jig, who is willing to abort her baby to keep her lover.
Mrs. Hutchinson never states her true feeling about the lottery until the very end
when she is the one picked to be stoned to death. She states it isn t fair, it isn t right
(Jackson. 54). It is the first time she voiced her opinion even though she felt this
way all along. Lori Voth states in Analysis of The Lottery Jackson uses the
protagonist, Mrs. Hutchinson, to show an individual consumed by hypocrisy and
weakness . She knew it was inhuman to murder someone but was too weak to say
so. Jig also goes along with her lover, not for her own happiness but for his. She
states Then I ll do it. Because I don t care about me (Hemingway. 200). She agrees
to get an abortion even though it is not what she wants but what he wants. She is
also too weak to tell him she wants to keep the baby. She is fearful of losing the

Key Factors For School Wide Behavior

Benoit A. Wyble

In the field of education there are many factors that contribute to the success and
failures of students and teachers who work to educate. Of these factors, perhaps one
of the most important is in the area of classroom behavior and behavior management.
Behavior management is such an important aspect in this field that teachers often
highlight the frustration of dealing with bad students and bad behaviors as a leading
cause of leaving the profession (Reinke, Herman, Stormont, 2013). Taking on the
task of working to create a system that can be applied to help build a successful

As mentioned the focus of much of the current research is on identifying those factors
that individuals within education feel are most important to the successful
implementation and sustainment of an effective SWPBIS program. Factors that have
been found through the various research to be most important include administrator
support, confidence in SWPBIS, and proper application of data (Bambara, Goh, Kern,
Caskie, 2012; Mathews, McIntosh, Frank, May, 2014; McIntosh, Predy, Upreti,
Hume, Turri, Mathews, 2014; McIntosh, Sterett, Hume, Frank, Turri, Mathews,
2013). Studies have hypothesized that these factors would be seen singled out as
having the biggest impacts. These beliefs tended to play out within the results of the
studies. Administrative support in the form of a strong school principle and staff buy
in were seen to be instrumental in the implementation of a solid program by the
educators who agreed to be surveyed (McIntosh, et al., 2014). The findings showing
that school personnel believe that having a strong school principle who provides for

The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath
In the novel, The Bell Jar, the main character, Esther goes through some deep
depression that leads to attempts of suicide, and eventually lands her in several
different private hospitals. In Esther s life, there are many factors, internal and
external, that lead to the collapse of her life. The majority of these factors come
from her surroundings. A main part of Esther s life is her writing and her future as
an English major in college. Once she begins to lose her ability to read and write, it
takes a big toll on her character, creating one of the main reasons she becomes
depressed. Even the thought of being sent back home to live with her motherall

Both of these large failures in Esther s career begin to compile the descent of Esther
into her state of depression. Not only was her writing a big variable in her
depression, her family life also played a big role.
Esther s family life was the second largest factor that lead to her depression. At
home, Esther only lived with her mother; her father had died in the 1940s when
she was a child. On top of that, Esther was not very fond of her mother. Although
her mother was nice and meant well, Esther did not like her, at all. Esther even
planned to run away from home to live with Doreen during the beginning of her
depression. Her mother was not Esther s best friend, and now that she was seeing
Doctor Gordon, she did not like the thought of her mother thinking she was insane.
No. But I didn t like the idea of Doctor Gordon talking to my mother one bit. I
thought he might tell her I should be locked up. I picked up every scrap of my

Introduction to Sociology SOCI111 with Dr. Tinker
Everyday I wake up and come into contact with objects and people of all
nationalities, cultures and social class, which is sociological. Objects I see or use
such as clothes, music, phone or even appliances that help me wake up (coffee of

beings interacting with one another, their ideas, and emotions, which can be called
sociology of identification. We recognize and participate sociologically with our
family at home, our peers and employers at work and students at school.
An example is the very class I am participating in right now, interacting using a set of

Blended Learning Definition
2.0Definitions of Blended Learning Literature has provided numerous definitions of
blended learning from many different point of views and perspectives but there is no
single definition agreed by the academicians. However, all of the definitions share the
common features of blended learning that result in a universal definition
acknowledged by many practitioners all over the world. The most common and
acceptable definition of blended learningagreed by many researchers is a combination
of face to face instruction and online learning that provide superior learning
experiences to the learners. A paper written by Liyana (2014) entitled, Motivating
Adult Learners Using Blended Learning in Higher EducationInstitution has listed a
few definitions of blended learning as follow:
a)Blended learning is a combination of traditional face to face and online learning so
that learning can take place both inside and outside of the classroom in which online
learning is an extension of conventional classroom learning (Colis and Moonen,
2001).
b)Blended learning is a new teaching and learning concept that provides learners ...

In tertiary institutions, students may have limited classroom contact hours but they
need to rapidly increase their knowledge and skills. They might not be able to meet
and consult their lecturers as much as they want or even have limited time to engage
in group discussion especially for the working adults. Therefore, blended learning
offers solution to this issue by allowing both educators and learners to interact in
virtual environment without having to be at the same place, at the same time for the
interaction to take place. This notion is supported by Sethy (2008) who stated that
educators have considered the needs for social interaction and collaboration by
adding human interaction to online learning which later helps in the learning

Why Was The Gallipoli Campaign Successful
The ANZAC Campaign at Gallipoli completely failed. The purpose of the Campaign
was justified, however its poor planning led to events such as the landing to fail.
Additionally, the poor tactics and rough conditions made attempts to break the
stalemate be in vain. The evacuation however, was one of the only successes of the
whole campaign.
The purpose of the Gallipoli Campaign was completely sound and would have
provided massive strategic advantage to the Allies if it succeeded. The idea behind
the Gallipoli Campaign was to clear the bombs in the Dardanelles and allow the
British and Russian ships to pass through. Constantinople would also be captured and
Turkey would surrender, removing one of Germany s most powerful allies. This
would mean that the stalemate on the Western Front would be easier to break and
thus the war could be won. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The Allied Forces underestimated the strength of the Turkish troops, and made many
poor decisions such as the landing locations of the main fronts or the impracticality of
the day one goals. Additionally, the maps distributed were outdated and not
informative and this resulted in many soldiers getting lost and added to the confusion
of the landing. The Campaign would have been more effective if the Allies had more
precisely planned the Campaign, and taken into consideration the strength of the
enemy and other aspects such as the terrain.
The landing of the troops for the Gallipoli Campaign was a disaster. This was
completely ineffective and cost many ANZAC lives. The original landing locations,
such as ANZAC cove were thin strips of beach, with minimal room for the soldiers.
Additionally steep cliffs backed the beach which made it extremely difficult to fight
the defending Turks, who were located
The First Coalition At The Battle Of Waterloo
On June 18, 1815 , Napoleon Bonaparte was defeated by the Sixth Coalition at the
Battle of Waterloo.
The Sixth Coalition consisted of the United Kingdom, Austria, Russia and Prussia,
who were recognized as the Great Powers.
They created the Concert of Europe, a system that was designed to create a balance
of power between its members, contain France following years of war, and to prevent
the rise of another future tyrant such as Napoleon.
On June 8, 1815, the German Confederation was created by the Congress of Vienna.
This confederation consisted of a loose union of thirty nine German states.

In 1834, the Zollverein, a coalition of all German states, with the exception of the

It was formed to managed tariffs and economic policies within the German states. It
established a free trade policy throughout Germany.
It was primarily controlled by Prussia and strengthened Prussia s economic and
political power. It also caused a rise in nationalism and encouraged unification.
From 1848 to 1849, a revolution took place in German member states of the German

protestors showing discontent regarding the large, sovereign autocratic states.
In March of 1848, a riot took place in Berlin. Prussian king Frederick Wilhelm IV,
surprisingly, granted the rioters parliamentary elections and granted the creation

On March 21, 1848, King Frederick Wilhelm IV issued a declaration to his people

quoted that Prussia is henceforth merged with Germany.

What Are The Pros And Cons Of Adhd
Although ADD and ADHD have many pros and cons at home and in everyday life,
they also have pros and cons for jobs that many people never think about. There are
the normal cons people see: Inattentive, must be on the move, and very few filters.
(Hallowell Ratey, 1994) ADD also has an effect on memory. It can inhibit thoughts
and ideas from surfacing, as well as from being remembered. This also has an effect
on them trying to focus on more than one task at a time. (Hallowell Ratey, 1994)
Due to the combination of the memory effects and constant daydreaming, many
people who suffer from ADD need to have constant reminders to do tasks. However,
in many cases memory can be improved by the effects of ADD when the person has
hyper focus. (Hallowell

Stylish Floors: Decorating With Area Rug
Overview
In a room that lacks excitement add a rug, and problem solved. That might be a
good reason to decorate your house with a rug, but there are others just as
compelling. It completes a room by tying all the various pieces together visually. A
rug can define a room, anchor it, help layer the dГ©cor of your room, or even add
warmth.
There are various ways to decorate your room with a rug. Here are some of the
gems of wisdom from top designers that can hopefully help you to stylishly decorate
your floor and make it more fun.
1.Centre stage
You should consider a rug as a decoration, but it can also be a foundation of an
elegant space. According to Amy Bubier a designer, rugs are restraining... Show more

The area rug that you choose can bring forth something surprising or add a
thunderbolt of colour. Do not be afraid to use a rich pattern or bold colour. On white
walls, chairs and floors, the zebra inspired rug enhances a jolt of colours
5.All Sizes and Shapes
Is your living room long and narrow? Don t worry! The area rugs come in different
sizes and shapes, and for every space there is one. Andreea Avram Rusu says that the
shape of the area rug should depend on the furniture and the size and shape of the
room. She further suggests that in dining rooms you can use a hexagonal rug with a
square table, rectangular rug with a long table, and a round rug with a round table.
6.Defining Spaces
You should not limit your room with one rug. You can use two different rugs to
define the different areas in an ultra large space. Ensure that the two rugs coordinate
and complement with each other. You can only use multiple rugs in big rooms.
7.Colour Unity
According to Designer Celia, you can use a neutral rug to tone down the vivacious
tables and sofas. The elusive red pattern of an area rug can add to the modernity of
the space. She further says that an area rug chosen can be used as a tool by bringing
about unity to the scheme of the colour or by giving the mood and adding charm to a
space.
8.Floor Border
When placing an area rug to your room, don t cover the floor completely. Ensure you
leave certain of the flooring showing. If you are creating a custom area
Summary Of The Portrait Of A Lady In A Blue Dress
Copley s piece titled Portrait of a Lady in a Blue Dress created in 1763 by John
Singleton Copley, represents an unnamed female portrait painted with oil on canvas.
The piece currently resides in the Art Institute of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. The
work of art can be seen from one side only because it hangs on the wall. There is a
great deal of indications in the paintingto show the viewer who this womanwas and
how she ranked high within society.
The portrait is displayed horizontally with a gold trimmed frame. The subject is a
female that looks to be in her early 20 s sitting upright on a large brown chair. If the
viewer travels up the painting the first indication of the woman s class is her satin,
blue dress. The saturated blue shines and falls in the light like water. Paired with the
dress are her exceptionally detailed endings to her sleeves. The lace is even painted
as though it is translucent, allowing a little of the blue dress to show through the
sleeve. Flowers throughout history have symbolized innocence of a woman and her
virginity. The repeating theme of flowers, in the sleeve cuffs and ribbon) in the
woman s attired suggests her purity or innocent nature. Another very details section
of the painting includes the corset/torso details. The sewing suggests texture in the
torso with small beading in between. Towards the top of the chest in the center, the
female seems to bear an extravagant, ribbon piece with a tear drop bead in the center.

Does Tsotsi Deserve Second Chances In Life

So tsotsi has really shown growth in his mind and is starting to change his way so
i believe we shouldn t hold him in jail for the rest of his life, this is why i say we

him while he s in jail. If we keep him in jail for longer he will most likely adapt to
what it s like to be a criminal again and once he s out he will continue to murder
and beat people up, also in Barack Obama s Weekly Address speech he talked about
us needing to reform our justice laws. He also mentions what i think would be best
for Tsotsi s case when he says I believe we can help those who have served their

members of society . This shows that Obama agrees that some people in prison
have really long sentences but they are improving and changing from their past in
jail, so he wants to help them get used to the society changed they missed out on
when they were in jail and make them a helpful member of the community. I feel
this is what Tsotsi would need to help him learn what s right from wrong since the
apartheid has really affected some of his actions in a negative way. Having Tsotsi in

The Signs Of The Gospel Of John Essay
Introduction
Amidst the disciples that had already seen the resurrected Christ, Thomas declares
that he will not believe unless he personally sees and feels Jesus for himself. To
which, on His appearance, Jesus said to him, Because you have seen Me, have you
believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed. Although the gospel of
John is clear that Jesus preformed many signs that are not recorded, he states that
the ones he records are for the purpose that those who have not seen may believe
and have life in His name. Therefore, the eight signs John chooses are very
important. These signs take Jesus out of the realm of the pious rabbi and challenge
the reader to see the hand of God, indeed, God Himself, actively working in Jesus. It
is the presence of God in the signs that Jesus preforms that show His deity.
Water is now wine (John 2:1 12)
John begins with, quite possibly, the most important sign. Just as John begins his
gospel placing Jesus squarely at the creation, so here He begins the signs with an act
of creation; turning water into wine at the marriage in Cana. Jesus mother was in
attendance. Her motive in informing Jesus that there was a lack of wine is unknown,
as well as what she expected temporally or miraculously. We can know from Jesus
response that it may have been a miracle that she intended. He uses the phrase My
hour, referring either to the appointed time, so that people might believe, or to the
ultimate new beginning, the cross.

The reason for this is that a single forest design is the simplest design and is most
easy to administer. This will obviously allow Riordan to take full advantages of AD s

Israel then declared its independence on 14 May 1948; it was quickly recognized by
the United States, the Soviet Union, and many other countries. The new nation of
Israel was also immediately attacked by neighboring Arab states. Israel prevailed in
the conflict and, in the process, secured more territory for itself than had been
stipulated under the UN partition plan. More than seven hundred thousand
Palestinians remained displaced after the war, and were considered refugees. They

Central to the ongoing Arab Israeli conflict is the question of Palestinian statehood.
Palestinians refer to their departure from Israel as the nakba or disaster. The refugees

Israel s south and along the west bank of the Jordan River, to Israel s east.
In 1949, the UN arranged a ceasefire in Israel, setting a boundary around it known

Analysis Of Saturday Climbing By W. D Valgardson
Teen ager would argue that to be independant is to be free. Although parents would
say their child s desire for independence is strenuous like an uphill climb. This is
confirmed in W.D. Valgardson s short story Saturday Climbing where Barry
struggles to climb a deceiving rock face which is analogous to his relationship with
his daughter. Not only if Moira will go to college in the upcoming year but also
which campus she will attend.Through this narrative, Valgardson suggests that
when parents provide copious amounts of security, conflict will arise and children
will rebel; only when a balance is found between security and allowing
independence will the relationship be harmonious. When Moira is young Barry is
able to provide full security for her because she is fully dependant on him. Barry
recalls how the climbing was easy; there were large handholds, so that at first
climbing was little more difficult than walking up stairs (p. 52). Both Barry and
Moira are comfortable with the amount of security and any conflicts are easily
solved. Barry can readily protect Moira from any possible dangers. Even as Moira
becomes an adult Barry nostalgically sees her as a little girl, intricately constructed
of fragile paper (p. 56). Therefore he must protect her from anything that might
damage her. Barry would like Moira to always follow him so he can keep life
simple and uncomplicated (p. 53) by setting any necessary protection for her.
However, because Moira is so sheltered and suffocated by her father, as she grows
older she is quick to separate herself and become independent. Providing security
becomes increasing difficult for Barry just as the incline on the cliff becomes more
challenging; unexpectedly, the surfaces smoothed; the places where he could get a
secure hold were spread farther and farther apart. At the same time, the numerous
cracks swindled until there was no place to set any protection (p. 52). Moreover
Barry and Moira s relationship beings to impede, activities like chess where they
could connect becomes obsolete. Moira often comes home late smelling of marijuana
and when asked if anything is bothering her Barry is answered with a cold contained
Nothing (p.53). Every attempt Bary has to

Investigation launched:
Mr. Johnson is under investigation for using government time and resources to
conduct personal business at the expense of the DOT. Also, there may be reason to
believe that Mr. Johnson may be using his position and power at the DOT to
influence other individuals for personal gain.
An interview conducted on January 22nd, 2008 with Jerry Johnson revealed that
he has been a site manager for the DOT for the past five years but has been

Enter Three Witches Chapter Summary
Enter Three Witches is a gripping retelling of Shakespeare s classic Macbeth.
Written by Caroline Cooney, the novel follows Lady Mary as she experiences the
tyranny of Lady Macbeth, and the struggles of trying to save the lives of anyone she
can. Many comparisons can be drawn to the original, however many differences are
prevalent. Although suspenseful and action packed, Enter Three Witchesstruggles
with keeping characters straight and starts off very slow. Cooney takes the reader on
a sporadic point of view hopping adventure throughout the world of Mr. and Mrs.
Macbeth. Following Lady Mary, Seyton, Fleance, and the maids, we get an
individual perspective of the events of Macbeth. It soon becomes very difficult to
determine what events are being referred to, and extremely difficult due to the time
frames being covered. The story covers many characters and relations, and gives an
inside look at day to day... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The story begins to feel like slow motion as they are introduced in a long
exposition covering the vast amount of people. We are repeatedly told how Lady
Mary is afraid, and how she is struggling to escape the harsh realities of life with
Lady Macbeth. She is always discussing her love life, something readers may find a
bore. Although there is an early battle revealed in the novel, the drawn out
expositions overshadow the suspense of Enter Three Witches. The novel also
focuses too much on the role the witches play. In the original Macbeth, the battle of
ambition versus prophecy is shown in the likes of Macbeth. Macbeth decidedly acts
on his own accord, and his greed turns him into a mad man. It is shown countless
times throughout the original that ambition trumps prophecy. In Enter Three
Witches, the Witch s prophecy is the law of the land. They cannot be trusted, and
will give false prophecy. They control the destiny of each character, and they are
feared by everyone in the
Catholic Church Research Papers
Over the course of decades, thousands of catholic priests and bishops sexually abused
thousands of children. The Catholic Church attempted to cover up these incidents by
re positioning church leaders and has spent nearly 4 billion dollars over 65 years to
redeem the church s name.
For years the catholic church was aware of priests sexualy abusing young, innocent
children, and instead of bringing the situation to awareness they shuffled these priests
around to keep the good name of the church intact. The statements shared in front of a
Philadelphia jury are enough to bring the coldest hearts to grief and the strongest
stomachs to ache.

File Sharing And The Internet Piracy
In recent years, internet piracy or file sharing of copyrighted material has gained
much popularity. It is a topic that has incessantly sparked debate and has even
received global attention. Although on the surface the act of file sharing may seem
harmless, it is far from it. Each year, film and record production companies as well
as software and video game development companies suffer from billions of dollars in
lost profits. This loss comes as a direct result of internetpiracy. Many agree that file
sharingis unethical and consider it to be no different than downright theft. On the
other hand, there are those that support file sharing and claim that their actions are
easily justified and ethical. This essay will provide a brief overview and history of
file sharing, will consider the arguments of each side, and will offer my personal
observations and stance on the issue.
File sharing, put simply, is the process of making available and distributing files
via the internet. Many freely developed applications have been made available that
simplify this process, providing the ability to easily search for, download, and
upload any piece of digital content imaginable. These applications are commonly
referred to as P2P or peer to peer applications as they allow individuals (peers) to
directly connect with other peers to share files. By themselves, such applications are
useless; a central network must be available that allows each peer to see one another.

The Formal Mission Of Collin County
Collin County is a governing body north of Dallas that has been experiencing rapid
growth over the past decade. Planning for the population growth, businesses
expansions, and county debt has been needed in order for the county to be sustainable
during the great recession. The formal mission of Collin Countyis to deliver services
including justice, publicsafety, infrastructure, and public health as mandated by the
State of Texasand to execute other priorities as determined by the Commissioners
Court (Collin County). The mission statement is very concise and specific at times
by mentioning the main services that are provided, such as justice, public safety,
infrastructure, and public health. Length of mission statements can be cumbersome
at times to understand because of conflicting views. Collin s mission provides insight
into the purpose that the organization is trying to fulfill and constitutes of a great
statement. Collin County s mission statement does not guide particular actions or
policies because it is there for public relations. Collin County does not have a clear
strategic plan for the county in general. There are a few strategic plans that are
current in the park district, but none have been implemented for the organization as a
whole. Several capital improvement plans are in place to improve transportation in
and around the county. Current capital project plans were implemented in 2007 and
are still works in progress. The capital plans hint at the
The Impact Of Sports On Sports And Leisure Activities
Section A Introduction Despite it being 2015, there are still many ongoing barriers
which are preventing many people of all ages, races, genders and social
backgrounds from participating in sports and leisure activities. Economically,
some sports are just completely unviable to people from certain backgrounds.
Sports such as Polo are completely exclusive to a certain class of people, due to the
mass expenses required to get you started. Inner city families, some of whom may
have a member of the household unemployed would never be able to foot the cost
of the bills to play Polo. Along with the unfeasibility of the costs of certain sports,
people are also being excluded from sport due to the social side of the spectrum.
Many sports are perceived as having gender ties and many children are brought up
to identify that a certain sport shouldn t be played by boys as it is a girls sport and
vice versa. This leads to a massive social stigma that is developed during the
formative years of schooling that influences children s decisions on what sports
they decide to play. It can also be tied into many cases of Homophobia in schools,
where many homophobic slurs may be attached to a girl who enjoys rugby, or a boy
who enjoys gymnastics. Due to the low number of combination between the sexes in
many sports as children, this leads to a deficiency of integration as adults, therefore
making it more difficult to get involved in a sport as an adult, due to the sport being
either male

Red Man Syndrome
Other than slowing down the infusion rate, antihistamines can relieve and prevent the
effects of red man syndrome. Antihistamines such as diphenhydramine and
hydroxyzine administered before the vancomycin dose can help to reduce symptoms
of pruritus and erythema. Pretreatment is usually given in IV form with 50 mg of
diphenhydramine over the course of one hour. By pretreating with either
diphenhydramine or hydroxyzine, red man syndrome can be prevented when the
patient receives their first dose of vancomycin. Other than these pretreatments, a
combination of an H1 receptor blocker with an H2 receptor blocker such as
cimetidine can also reduce the risk of developing red man syndrome.7 In our patient,
the IV vancomycin dose should have been discontinued because of the incorrect route
and instead, she should have been given oral vancomycin. JZ should also have been

Informative Essay On Snow Removal
The fact can be really comprehended that snow falling is something that everyone
takes pleasure in. Several people might hold a different perception to the following
question.
How does it feel when you are sitting near the window inside your house relishing a
cup of hot and scented coffee and taking a mesmerizing view of snow falling?
You simply get hypnotized by such a captivating view that MotherNature showers on
you. Winter is hitting the doors and it has almost taken every human being under its
shed. It is something that people really relish big time. But what they don t enjoy is
when they see snow getting accumulated around their house as it hinders everything
that comes in its way. People find it tough to dispose of the snow by themselves.
Thus, they seek the adept services of professionals that are proficient tradesmen who

A Report On The Mobile Clinic
The mobile unit itself must be equipped with one or more dental chair and an x ray
machine and a self contained Piezo scaler. There are two options. The first is a
fully functioning readymade dental clinic. These units can cost up to $300,000.
They are completely self contained and ready to begin service once delivered. The
alternative are portable clinics that pack up into a van, are unloaded at the
secondary site and then broken down with this use. (Mobile Dental Clinics, 2005)
One is shown in figure 1. Even though the dental clinic is more tedious, it is an
affordable option, it allows for the more patients to be seen with more chairs and
allows customers to use building facilities as needed. Therefore, the mobile clinic
will use this option. Business hours will be from 8 pm to 8 pm with hours 5 8
devoted to preparing for the next day. Walk ins will only be accepted on specific
day, when the mobile clinic is open for free services to those who are in need. The

Components Of The Olfactory System
The Olfactory System
Introduction
The human body is a complex organism that is composed of many different sensory
systems. These systems work together to create various sensations within the body.
The olfactory system, also known as the sense of smell, is one of the most
imperative of all the sensory system. Mammals, both humans and animals, depend
greatly on the olfactory system whether it is cognizant or unintentional. Many
people fail to realize how much the sense of smell binds to almost every other
sense within the body. Many animals depend on the sense of smell as their primary
sense. Humans however depend on their vision as their primary sense but that
doesn t mean humans are not dependent of the olfactory system. To get an overall
understanding of the olfactory system, it is important to understand how it operates
and travels within the body. Each function is vital to the overall production of the
sense of smell. It is also important to understand the connection between the
olfactory sense and the brain. Damage to any part of the olfactory system can have
a big impact on how you perform in your everyday life. A damage as minimal as a
congestion can affect your sense of smell that then transfers to the depletion of your
taste. In more extreme cases damage can result in disorders such as depression and
Alzheimer s disease.
The Components of The Olfactory System Unlike many of the other senses, olfaction
is a chemical based sense. The olfaction system job is to
Psychology At Jefferson Center For Mental Health
Throughout this semester I completed an internship in psychology at Jefferson
Center for Mental Health. Specifically I spent my time in a short term Hospital
Alternative Facility (HAF). HAF is a residential facility that aids in transitioning
home from the hospital, another Jefferson Center for Mental Health facility or a
crisis situation. All of our clients have current mental health diagnoses, the most
common of which are depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, personality disorders,
and schizophrenia. Clients stay for only a short time and the main objectives for
their stay normally revolve around stabilizing meds and finalizing housing and living
plans for the future. HAF provides services that are vital in that clients can have a
stable residence so they can focus on managing symptoms and figuring out the best
strategy to integrate themselves, with new goals back into their life. However, with
all of HAF s outstanding and vital qualities, there are also areas that I would suggest
for improvement given what I have learned through my undergraduate education in
psychology. My first critique stems from my exposure to both Psychopharmacology
and Clinical Psychologyclasses. Every morning, a Nurse Prescriber comes to HAF
and meets with as many clients as she can during her allotted two hours each
weekday. There are two critiques that I have found concerning given this method of
managing client medication. The first lies in an apparent patient client disconnect

Roy Davidson s Death Of Pain
Roy Davidson was thirty one years old when he went to his doctor complaining of
intense pain in his stomach. He was told that he had a severe case of bleeding
ulcers and that surgery would only complicate the condition, causing extensive
damage. Roy had to live with the pain. He slept with it, ate with it, worked with it,
and changed his life to revolve around the ulcers. Eventually, quitting his job, he
decided to go on a mission trip in Haiti. While in Haiti, Roy experienced the worst
pain he had felt since receiving his diagnosis. The ulcers were so bad that he was
not able to go to the worksite. His companions on the trip offered their prayers to
Roy, but he declined, thinking that their simple prayers would not be enough to

Humans are wrong about a lot of the things. Roy was wrong when he dismissed the
power of prayer. In Kathryn Schulz s Being Wrong, she remarks that the scientific
field is littered with discarded theories (9); the earth is not the center of the
universe and nor is it flat. People are not always who we think they are and, despite
some believing it to be impossible, sometimes the underdog prevails. There is an
abundance of doubt and error to be encountered everyday. However, there are a few
things that we are able to know with our whole being. Believing in something greater
than the human race is something that Schulz s wrongology cannot touch. It is
evident to many, like Roy and myself, that God s healing power is a whole hearted,
honest truth. Part of having faith is that you are able to believe in God without doubt,
even when others do not. Although there is skepticism and disbelief by strangers,
close friends, or even your own family, this belief must be strong enough that you can
follow Him without needing the approval of other people.
Facing the shortcomings of our own beliefs is something that Schulz preaches
throughout Being Wrong. Knowing that something is true with complete faith, like
the way that I believe in God, is not a feat that is easily accomplished. Faith can be
instilled, but it must be something that eventually becomes self evident. I was
Construction Of Construction And Construction
1.Introduction:
1.1.Background to the study:
The construction industry is one the main industries in the words which is growing
rapidly. The industry generates employment opportunities and economic growth
through creating foreign and local investment opportunities (M. Agung, 2009). In
spite of these contributions in nations economic, it has some drawbacks such as
environmental pollutions and degradation (Johnson David, 2008). Construction waste
is one of the single largest waste stream which is estimated approximately 50 per cent
of all materials used worldwide. Therefore, it is essential to reduce the construction

1989). Waste minimization in construction industry is significant not only from
efficiency point of view, but also, nowadays, concern has been growing about the
adverse effect of the waste of building materials on the environment. This kind of
waste typically accounts for between 15 and 30% of urban waste, also it is
difficult to recycle building materials due to high levels of contamination and a
large degree of heterogeneity and often there is insufficient space for its disposal in
large cities. (Brooks et al.1994; Bossink and Brouwers 1996; Forsythe and Marsden
1999) Moreover, reduction in availability of future materials energy as well as
increasing demands on the transportation system can be the consequences of high
levels of construction waste. Wyatt (1978) Considering some building materials and
components which use large amounts of non renewable sources of energy, as well as
resources that are in danger of depletion, such as timber, sand, and crushed stone
(Bossink and Brouwers 1996).
1.2.Statement of the problem:
A wide range of construction companies have been faced with the serious threat that
construction waste has been imposed to their profits, which is the reason for the
existence of most companies. However, most firms still have no serious attention into
the identifying the factors that contribute to
the increase of waste in the construction industry. Many resources
Peru Flags
There are two countries that located in different continents but their national flags
are similar and difference at the same time. Many Thai people have heard of Peru
which is located in western of South Africa, but there are less people that have

Edgar Allan Poe s The Tell Tale Heart
All humans have one thing in common... they all fear the unknown. Humans fear
what they can t control. Author, Edgar Allan Poe wrote short stories that evoked
emotions of fear of the unknown in a way that speaks to the reader. Some of Poe s
stories were not well accepted in his day because people were just not ready for them
they were scary. Poe s works The Tell Tale Heart

Edgar Allan Poe s The Tell Tale Heart, is a short story that illustrates the main theme
of guilt from a murder; however, the loss of control and the fear of the unknown is
it s most important aspect. In The Tale Tale Heart, the unnamed narrator doesn t
admit in the end, it s his fault, the narrator says the real villain is the beating heart
and the police officer. Villains! I shrieked, dissemble no more! I admit the deed!
tear up the planks! here, here! It is the beating of his hideous heart! (Poe, 86). When
guilt is felt, it s an overwhelming psychological feeling internally. It s this
psychological feeling inside all humans face where there is a thought they either
have to confess to their guilt or someone will figure it out. Keith Paxton is bachelor
of history who wrote about this, In the Psychoanalytical Analysis of The Tell Tale
Heart. The narrator is fixed on doing his crime with extreme caution, but in the end,
his ego causes him to confess his deed. (Paxton,

The Discussion And Analysis Of Delta Air Lines Essay
This recap is in reference to the paper submitted on September 20th, 2016 the
discussion and analysis of Delta Air Lines was a continuance of systems theory
evaluation of September 13, 2016 of the problem of effective communication in an
organization and interdivisional effectiveness resulting in obsolete and poor
transference of information. This occurred when strategic decisions closed out or
altered promotional programs for stakeholders including clients. This alteration of
policies evoked confusion within employee hierarchy effecting correct information
aligning with strategic managements decision making plans miss aliening key cross
divisional disruption of delivering goods and services to the shareholders. As
previously outlined, short term divisional goals mandated individual performance has
taken precedence over divisional objectives thereby influencing strategic decision
making.
Discussion included solutions from a broad perspective within the network approach
mandating feedback interdivisional boundaries. Independent divisional reporting to
management can result in individual and interdivisional specific performance in
benefits and drawbacks regarding identifying cooperation of promotional changes
between divisions of the organization. Reciprocally, negative effects of employee
performance result in reflection of misaligning of gaps between independent
divisional relations, procedures, and standards. A macro level restraint in

Women In Society Essay

  • 1. Women In Society Essay Crafting an essay on the subject of women in society can be a challenging endeavor that requires a thoughtful approach and a deep understanding of various aspects. The complexity arises from the need to navigate through the multifaceted nature of women's roles, contributions, challenges, and the evolving dynamics within society. Firstly, delving into the historical context demands meticulous research to trace the trajectory of women's status, rights, and societal expectations. Analyzing this progression is essential for providing a comprehensive understanding of the struggles and triumphs women have faced over time. Addressing contemporary issues further complicates the task, as the essay must grapple with the complexities of gender inequality, systemic biases, and societal expectations. This involves a nuanced exploration of the various spheres where women play crucial roles, such as the workplace, politics, education, and family, among others. Balancing perspectives is another challenge. While highlighting the advancements made in empowering women, it is equally important to acknowledge persisting inequalities and the existence of various forms of discrimination. Striking this balance requires a delicate touch to ensure a fair and unbiased portrayal. Additionally, the diversity of women's experiences across cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds, and ethnicities adds another layer of complexity. A comprehensive essay should strive to be inclusive and recognize the intersectionality of gender with other social factors. Crafting a compelling narrative that engages readers and provokes thoughtful reflection is a crucial aspect. This involves honing one's writing skills to convey ideas clearly, persuasively, and empathetically, fostering a connection with the audience. In conclusion, writing an essay on the role of women in society is indeed a challenging task that requires a deep understanding of historical contexts, a nuanced approach to contemporary issues, a balanced presentation of perspectives, and effective storytelling. However, the importance of addressing such a vital topic makes the effort worthwhile, as it contributes to fostering awareness and promoting meaningful conversations about gender equality and women's empowerment. • 2. Negative Effects Of Cocaine All drugs affect the body differently, however, some drugs come with a high number of negative effects. Alcohol is one of the most popular drugs in America, alcohol impacts the brain and body greatly. Furthermore, cocaine is usually used in clubs because an individual feels good after using cocaine, but cocaineis highly addictive and a very dangerous drug. Cocaine is an addictive drug and it affects how the brain generally functions. Cocaine gets involved with the reward system in the brain. Cocaine has an effect on three neurotransmitters which are dopamine, serotonin, and norepinephrine. What dopamine is involved in is the feeling of dependency, serotonin causes feelings of confidence, and norepinephrine increases or lowers an individuals energy level. What cocaine does in the brain is, it won t allow the reabsorption of these three chemicals, it does this by binding to the transporters, these transporters are in charge of removing high amounts of these three neurotransmitters from the synaptic gap. Since cocaine binds to the transporters the neurotransmitters can no longer by reabsorbed and this leads to a high level of these neurotransmitters in the synapses ( Cocaine Addiction and... ). Having a high concentration of dopamine leads to higher feelings of pleasure and reward, this leads the brain to think that cocaine isn t dangerous. People that continue to use cocaine get used to high levels of these neurotransmitters and always want to have elevated levels because it causes them pleasure, that s how addiction happens. Furthermore, the frontal cortex is what makes us reject pleasure if we know the outcome won t be positive. Cocaine addicts can no longer rely on the frontal cortex because this area becomes damaged when someone is addicted to cocaine ( Cocaine Addiction and... ). Lastly, cocaine also affects the amygdala and hippocampus, these both help an individual remember what led to the satisfaction they felt. When someone uses cocaine, the amygdala and hippocampus create memories of people and places that are connected to the drug and also memories of the pleasure. If the individual is with the people or at the same place where they felt pleasure it will bring back memories and an urge to
  • 3. Nores vs. Greek Essay Nores vs. Greek Greek mythology and Roman mythology are almost identical. This is an accepted fact, as it is widely known that the Romans stole the Greek myths. However, it is very interesting to note that the mythology of the Vikings (Norse) has many similarities with the Greek myths. These myths are, by no means, identical to the Greek ones (like the Roman ones are), but there are very distinct commonalities between the two. I see two possible reasons for this besides pure coincidence. The first has to do with the fact that Norse myths were codified during the Viking era: 780 1070. This gives the Norsemen many centuries to become exposed to the Greek (or Roman) myths. The Vikings did travel as far east as the Caspian sea, which ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The gods and goddesses are powerful beings capable of super human powers, but nevertheless are characters fraught with very human frailties and flaws. In this way they created gods that had similarities with the common man in the society. This made the gods more tangible and easier to identify with. I think that this was necessary because they were not yet at the societal maturity level to have a single god on a cosmic plane. Most of the comparisons will be examining the similarities between major Greek and Norse gods, as well as creatures, stories and specific symbols which are featured in the mythologies. Some of the gods do not have direct counterparts (Thor, Athena and Loki). However, I will provide possible similarities within the respective mythologies. ASGARD Asgard is sometimes known as Asgarth. It is the realm of the gods and the home of both the Aesir and Vanir. Is is ruled by Odin, the leader of the Norse deities. It is located in the heavens, but is connected to earth by a bridge, known as Bifrost, sometimes referred to as a rainbow. There is also a route from Asgard to the underworld, the domain of Hel. Valhalla, a hall within Asgard, was the palace for fallen kings, warriors who had died in battle and heroes. MT. OLYMPUS Mount Olympus was the home of the Greek gods. It was chosen as their home because of its altitude, for Zeus, the king of the gods, was associated with the sky. Within the mythology, Mt. Olympus was large, foreboding
  • 4. Analysis Of I Don t Have A Mama 1. See, I said, you don t have any family and neither do I. I ve got the preacher, of course. But I don t have a mama. I mean I have one, but I don t know where she is. She left when I was three years old. I can t hardly remember her. And I bet you don t remember your mama much either. So we re almost like orphans pg 21. Opal say this to Winn Dixie when Opal takes him into their home and considers him a family member. The quote makes the image of her and Winn Dixie s lives very lonely and sad. This makes me think she has no one to talk to and that her father is just there. Why doesn t she count her father as family? The image makes it look like her father is not emotionally connected to her and she need more love in her life. The reason why I can connect and relate to the book is because I only have a mother. I grew up in a single parenthousehold. My father pasted away when I was Twelve years old. I didn t even know my father that well even in those Twelve years. I can relate with Opal not being able to recall anything about a parent. My mother doesn t talk about my father so it is hard to know things and to know what and how she is thinking. Opal can relate to this because her father doesn t talk much about her mother either. Whenever my mother does say something I will keep it in my memories forever because it s the only things I have to hold on to about my father. Opal did the same thing when her father told her ten things about her mother. Opal and I
  • 5. Gun Laws And Gun Violence In The United States Gun violence is a serious matter in the united states. In this essay I will tell you about gun laws and gun death rates, what death rates numbers are and what they include, what states have the highest and lowest death rates, what the Brady Act is and what it enforces and does for gun laws, what gun regulations are revoked and overlooked, how to make it harder to get guns could save lives, how the National Rifle Association say gun regulations have no effect on crime, and can particular laws help with reducing gun related deaths. A death rate number is the number of deaths per 100,000 people (Robertson, Lori) Firearm deaths include homicide, suicide, accidents, and legal intervention. (gun laws vs. gun deaths) Suicides make up more than half of the total gun related deaths in the united states. These are the amount of how much each type of deaths makeup suicide (63.5), homicide (32.6), accidental (1.7), legal intervention (1.4), undetermined (0.8). (Gun laws vs. Gun deaths) States death rates vary only if they have strict gun laws/ regulations or not. From a study in 2013 the top ten states with the highest firearm deaths rates were Alaska (19.8), Louisiana (19.3), Mississippi (17.8), Alabama (17.6), Arkansas (16.8), Wyoming (16.7), Montana (16.7), Oklahoma (16.5), New Mexico (15.5), and Tennessee (15.4). • 6. Relationship Between Caesar And Octavian Octavian, the sole heir and successor of Julius Caesar overcame significant impediments in his rise to becoming Rome s first emperor. Aged only nineteen at the time of Caesars assassination in March 44BC Octavian s intelligence and fortitude proved successful over the barriers of youth, inexperience and the political opposition that he faced. Octavian went on to have one of the most famous political careers of all time to defeat the Senate, Marc Antony, and gain sole control over the Roman Empire. Before Caesars assassination Caesar and Octavian had built a powerful relationship that proved instrumental in Octavian s career. Octavian learned a great deal about provincial administration, warfare and political manipulation while a part ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Antony s actions after Caesars death solidified his expectations of inheriting power as he moved to take control of Caesars assets, and publically read his will and he thought himself to be the strongest contender to carry on Caesars political legacy. To assert political power in the Roman Empire Octavian s first action was to gain loyalty among the Roman people and build his reputation. In Illyricum at the time of Caesars assassination he took with him a small group of friends that went to the south of Italy to visit Caesars allies and clients. Whilst there he assessed the position in Rome and the best course of action he could take to gain control. Once in Rome he concentrated on commemorating Caesars death and seeking vengeance against his assassins which was in contrast with Antony s views. Octavian then began to build a relationship with the Roman mob, they were one of Caesars main power bases and very influential in the Roman Empire. To build a positive relationship he first paid the legacies that were left to the people of Rome by Caesar. As the processing of Caesars will was held up and Antony refused to return Caesars money Octavian pad the people out of his own pocket. This action gained loyalty and began to pave the way for a constructive relationship between Octavian and the Roman people. The next action that Octavian took was to undermine his political opponents, he wanted to achieve a high political position in Rome and eliminate Marc Antony. To do
  • 7. Atomoxetine Research Paper Atomoxetine Stimulant medication for ADHD has evidence for safety and efficacy, however this does not rule out 30% of the population that does not respond to stimulants. Non stimulants are very useful in these situations. Atomoxetine (ATM) is a norepinephrine transport inhibitor and was the first non stimulant to be approved for use in ADHD. The daily recommended dose for children is 1.4mg/kg. The exact mechanism of action is unknown for ATM, however research suggests it is a selective inhibitor of presynaptic NOR transporters, therefore inhibiting reuptake of norepinephrine. Primarily, the CYP2D6 isoenzyme pathway hepatically metabolizes ATM and undergoes oxidation, forming the active metabolite 4 hydroxatomoxetine. The second metabolite
  • 8. The Texas Horned Lizard Essay The Texas horned lizard, Phrynosoma cornutum, is a species in the lizard family, Phrynosomatidae, which has ten genera and a diverse group of over 125 different species (Hammerson 2007; Cossel Jr. 1997). Lizards in this family can be found in Mexico, Panama, most areas of the United States and parts of Canada (Heying 2003). Phrynosomatids range in a variety of forms, but are most commonly distinguished by their small size (less than 10 cm long), rough and keeled scales, spikes on their bodies, and the fusion of the sides of their teeth to the sides of their inner jawbones, known as pleurodont teeth (Heying 2003). The thirteen species in the horned lizardgenus, Phrynosoma, can be identified more specifically by their flattened bodies... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It has developed highly efficient mechanisms for collecting water on the ground and moisture in the air and transporting it across its skin to its mouth (Map 2010). The Texas horned lizard has hinged scales, which are interconnected to a system of tubular canals located in the thin keratin layer of its skin (Sherbrooke et al 2007). When water or moisture comes into contact with the its scales, capillary forces pull water into the lizard s tubular canals, which is then transported to the mouth for consumption (Sherbrooke et al 2007). The lizard s hinged scales have also adapted a greater efficiency of absorbing water by increasing their surface area, which allows for more water to be absorbed and transported at once (Sherbrooke et al 2007). Furthermore, the lizard has adapted a buccal pumping mechanism in its mouth, which allows it to pump a constant flow of water into its mouth to drink (Map 2010; Sherbrooke et al 2007). It has modified structures around its mouth that, combined with certain tongue and jaw movements, allows it to lower the water pressure and pull a constant flow of water through its tubular canals and directly into its mouth (Map 2010; Sherbrooke et al 2007). The Texas horned lizardalso exhibits behavioral adaptations that have increased its water absorbing efficiency. To help increase the capture of water from its scales, the lizard lowers its head and body to the ground and sticks out its legs to increase the surface area of its body in
  • 9. Human Story In Life Of Pi Have you ever been stranded in the middle of the ocean with a 450 pound adult bengal tiger? Well according to Pi Patel he has and survived nearly 300 days in that predicament. In the book Life of Pi, Yann Martel s character Piscine Molitor Pi Patel survives a shipwreck and ends up on a lifeboat with a variety of animals one of which being a bengal tiger. The story starts out with Pi telling the author he can make him believe in God with his story. Throughout the story Pi tells a great tale of his experiences on the lifeboat with the tiger but the only thing is that s exactly what it is, a tale. The real story comes at the end of the book when two Japanese men question Pi about the sinking of the Tsimtsum and Pi tells a different story because the men did not believe the animal one. The second story has humans instead of animals therefore making it the more reasonable story. So the human story is real because it is the more feasible option, being alone for a very extended amount of time can cause a person to lose their sanity, and some of the things that Pi mentioned were a little far fetched. The human story is the all around most reasonable story obviously. There is no way that Pi could survive nearly 300 days with such a big predator. Also being on a lifeboat with very limited resources it is clear that a bengal tiger would take advantage of Pi being there and kill him. Like stated in the book animals do not think about what they are doing, I don t think about it.
  • 10. The Benefits Of Animal Assisted Therapy Today there is debate surrounding if therapy animals are really therapy or just pets. A simple definition of animal assisted therapy or AAT is therapy with animals (commonly cats or dogs) as a form of treatment. According to Rodriguez (2016) in her article titled Animal Assisted Therapy Linked to Psychological Benefits she explains In terms of specific mental health benefits, studies in the last few years have shown that AAT may improve outcomes and reduce various symptoms for people with depression, anxiety, dementia, loneliness and more. • 11. The John F. Kennedy Assassination U.S. History 102 Research Project The John F. Kennedy Assassination Cody D. Bindley History 102: 1865 to Present Instructor Sumner February 7, 2016 INTRODUCTION On November 22, 1963 President John F. Kennedy was attending a parade in Dallas, Texas. During this parade President Kennedy was traveling in a 1961 convertible Lincoln Continental limousine with the top down. President Kennedy was traveling in the third row passenger side seat of the vehicle, seated to his left was his wife, Jaqueline. In the second row passenger side seat was Texas Governor John Connally, seated to his left his wife, Nellie. The vehicle was driven by William Robert Greer also in the vehicles front passenger seat was Roy Kellerman. During this parade President Kennedy and Governor Connally and were shot while traveling through Delany Plaza at approximately 1230 hours. President Kennedy was struck by two bullets one in the back of the head and one in the rear of his neck. President Kennedy succumbed to these gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at 1300 hours. Governor Connally was struck by one bullet in the back. Governor Connally survived his injuries despite having a clasp lung. Lee Harvey Oswald was the primary suspect of this shooting. Due to an admittedly flawed investigation and conflicting witness statements this has given birth to one of the largest conspiracy topics in United States history. In this paper I will list the facts surrounding two theories which I
  • 12. Taking a Look at Mental Disorders Mental disorders hold negative assumptions, but yet are the least understood. Society seems to give little attention to the issues that surround someone with a mental disorder, which may be because we don t understand this population. This article urges that this has become an issue in the society. While we tried to deinstitutionalize those with metal disorders and place them back into society, it appears as if this might have been the proper action. Suggestions like utilizing group homes and funding treatment that cares for their needs would be useful improvements. This article insists that maybe we need to put more of our tax dollars toward creating more beds in the hospitals or group homes, screening for signs of mental disorders, and providing families with services. Houston would have flourished if other living arrangements and therapy options were available at his fingertips. In addition, the article is trying to raise awareness. These kinds of situations can be avoided if proper care and treatment for an individual occurs like we saw with Terri. Referring to lecture, Schizophrenia interferes with daily functioning like caring for ones self, working, and forming relationships. That person must have two particular symptoms for a month including delusions, hallucinations, disorganized speech, or disorganized behavior. We see more a variety of symptoms with Houston who withdrew himself from his family and friends, hallucinated, became depressed, had repeated outbursts,

  • 14. Suicide Squad Essay Despite its highly anticipated and long awaited debut for fans, the DC Comics motion picture Suicide Squad was annihilated by countless movie critics. One critic went for the jugular and calls the film, ...a tired image, a stale and meaningless stab at grandeur (Lawson, Suicide Squad Isn t Even the Good Kind of Bad ). Grandeur ? What were these critics expecting to see? There was never any misrepresentation. The movie was not made with any hopes to win an Oscar or a SAG nomination, nevertheless, for what it is; the filmhit its mark (no Deadshot pun intended). At best, it may receive accolades at the MTV Movie Awards and more than likely, the film s stars Will Smith (Deadshot), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn) and Jared Leto (Joker) will gain a golden popcorn statue due to their on screen chemistry alone. The movie was not created for critics, it was made for fans of the comic book genre and its goal was not to win critical acclaim, but to make money, to entertain and to... I don t remember ever seeing a bigger split between what the critics and the audience thought of a film (Schwerdtfeger, Cinemablend). The group may be united to form a final consensus (Namvar, 2000, p.8). Time Series Forecasting Method Time series techniques are the most popular quantitative method. These techniques use statistical methods for projecting from historical data. Quantitative techniques are preferred when appropriate data are available. The main assumption is that the historical pattern will continue into the future. The two main types of time series forecasting are average smoothing and exponential smoothing. The moving average is simply a series of arithmetic averages. Predicting sales for next year is simple. The actual sales for a certain number of years is added, and then divided by the number of years used to get the moving average. A weighted moving average is obtained by assigning a specific weight to previous years. The sum of all weights must equal one. Recent years are given a higher weight (Namvar, 2000, p.13). Exponential smoothing is simply a subtype of the weighted moving average. A new forecast is a weighted sum of actual variables (usually sales) in the current year and the weighted forecast of

The piece currently resides in the Art Institute of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. The work of art can be seen from one side only because it hangs on the wall. There is a great deal of indications in the paintingto show the viewer who this womanwas and how she ranked high within society. The portrait is displayed horizontally with a gold trimmed frame. The subject is a female that looks to be in her early 20 s sitting upright on a large brown chair. If the viewer travels up the painting the first indication of the woman s class is her satin, blue dress. The saturated blue shines and falls in the light like water. Paired with the dress are her exceptionally detailed endings to her sleeves. The lace is even painted as though it is translucent, allowing a little of the blue dress to show through the sleeve. Flowers throughout history have symbolized innocence of a woman and her virginity. The repeating theme of flowers, in the sleeve cuffs and ribbon) in the woman s attired suggests her purity or innocent nature. Another very details section of the painting includes the corset/torso details. The sewing suggests texture in the torso with small beading in between. Towards the top of the chest in the center, the female seems to bear an extravagant, ribbon piece with a tear drop bead in the center. The light pink

The Signs Of The Gospel Of John Essay Introduction Amidst the disciples that had already seen the resurrected Christ, Thomas declares that he will not believe unless he personally sees and feels Jesus for himself. To which, on His appearance, Jesus said to him, Because you have seen Me, have you believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed. Although the gospel of John is clear that Jesus preformed many signs that are not recorded, he states that the ones he records are for the purpose that those who have not seen may believe and have life in His name. Therefore, the eight signs John chooses are very important. These signs take Jesus out of the realm of the pious rabbi and challenge the reader to see the hand of God, indeed, God Himself, actively working in Jesus. It is the presence of God in the signs that Jesus preforms that show His deity. Water is now wine (John 2:1 12) John begins with, quite possibly, the most important sign. Just as John begins his gospel placing Jesus squarely at the creation, so here He begins the signs with an act of creation; turning water into wine at the marriage in Cana. Jesus mother was in attendance. Her motive in informing Jesus that there was a lack of wine is unknown, as well as what she expected temporally or miraculously. We can know from Jesus response that it may have been a miracle that she intended. He uses the phrase My hour, referring either to the appointed time, so that people might believe, or to the ultimate new beginning, the cross.

More than seven hundred thousand Palestinians remained displaced after the war, and were considered refugees. They settled in camps in nearby Arab nations. Central to the ongoing Arab Israeli conflict is the question of Palestinian statehood. Palestinians refer to their departure from Israel as the nakba or disaster. The refugees and their descendants, the Palestinians, today reside in the coastal Gaza Strip to Israel s south and along the west bank of the Jordan River, to Israel s east. In 1949, the UN arranged a ceasefire in Israel, setting a boundary around it known as the Green Line. • 37. Analysis Of Saturday Climbing By W. D Valgardson Teen ager would argue that to be independant is to be free. Although parents would say their child s desire for independence is strenuous like an uphill climb. This is confirmed in W.D. Valgardson s short story Saturday Climbing where Barry struggles to climb a deceiving rock face which is analogous to his relationship with his daughter. Not only if Moira will go to college in the upcoming year but also which campus she will attend.Through this narrative, Valgardson suggests that when parents provide copious amounts of security, conflict will arise and children will rebel; only when a balance is found between security and allowing independence will the relationship be harmonious. When Moira is young Barry is able to provide full security for her because she is fully dependant on him. Barry recalls how the climbing was easy; there were large handholds, so that at first climbing was little more difficult than walking up stairs (p. 52). Both Barry and Moira are comfortable with the amount of security and any conflicts are easily solved. Barry can readily protect Moira from any possible dangers. Even as Moira becomes an adult Barry nostalgically sees her as a little girl, intricately constructed of fragile paper (p. 56). Therefore he must protect her from anything that might damage her. Barry would like Moira to always follow him so he can keep life simple and uncomplicated (p. 53) by setting any necessary protection for her. However, because Moira is so sheltered and suffocated by her father, as she grows older she is quick to separate herself and become independent. Providing security becomes increasing difficult for Barry just as the incline on the cliff becomes more challenging; unexpectedly, the surfaces smoothed; the places where he could get a secure hold were spread farther and farther apart. At the same time, the numerous cracks swindled until there was no place to set any protection (p. 52). Moreover Barry and Moira s relationship beings to impede, activities like chess where they could connect becomes obsolete. Moira often comes home late smelling of marijuana and when asked if anything is bothering her Barry is answered with a cold contained Nothing (p.53). Every attempt Bary has to

Written by Caroline Cooney, the novel follows Lady Mary as she experiences the tyranny of Lady Macbeth, and the struggles of trying to save the lives of anyone she can. Although suspenseful and action packed, Enter Three Witchesstruggles with keeping characters straight and starts off very slow. It is a topic that has incessantly sparked debate and has even received global attention. Although on the surface the act of file sharing may seem harmless, it is far from it. Each year, film and record production companies as well as software and video game development companies suffer from billions of dollars in lost profits. This loss comes as a direct result of internetpiracy. Many agree that file sharingis unethical and consider it to be no different than downright theft. Many freely developed applications have been made available that simplify this process, providing the ability to easily search for, download, and upload any piece of digital content imaginable. These applications are commonly referred to as P2P or peer to peer applications as they allow individuals (peers) to directly connect with other peers to share files. The Impact Of Sports On Sports And Leisure Activities Section A Introduction Despite it being 2015, there are still many ongoing barriers which are preventing many people of all ages, races, genders and social backgrounds from participating in sports and leisure activities. Economically, some sports are just completely unviable to people from certain backgrounds. Sports such as Polo are completely exclusive to a certain class of people, due to the mass expenses required to get you started. Inner city families, some of whom may have a member of the household unemployed would never be able to foot the cost of the bills to play Polo. Along with the unfeasibility of the costs of certain sports, people are also being excluded from sport due to the social side of the spectrum. Many sports are perceived as having gender ties and many children are brought up to identify that a certain sport shouldn t be played by boys as it is a girls sport and vice versa. This leads to a massive social stigma that is developed during the formative years of schooling that influences children s decisions on what sports they decide to play. It can also be tied into many cases of Homophobia in schools, where many homophobic slurs may be attached to a girl who enjoys rugby, or a boy who enjoys gymnastics. Due to the low number of combination between the sexes in many sports as children, this leads to a deficiency of integration as adults, therefore making it more difficult to get involved in a sport as an adult, due to the sport being either male

These systems work together to create various sensations within the body. The olfactory system, also known as the sense of smell, is one of the most imperative of all the sensory system. Mammals, both humans and animals, depend greatly on the olfactory system whether it is cognizant or unintentional. Many people fail to realize how much the sense of smell binds to almost every other sense within the body. Many animals depend on the sense of smell as their primary sense. Humans however depend on their vision as their primary sense but that doesn t mean humans are not dependent of the olfactory system. To get an overall understanding of the olfactory system, it is important to understand how it operates and travels within the body. Each function is vital to the overall production of the sense of smell. It is also important to understand the connection between the olfactory sense and the brain. This occurred when strategic decisions closed out or altered promotional programs for stakeholders including clients. This alteration of policies evoked confusion within employee hierarchy effecting correct information aligning with strategic managements decision making plans miss aliening key cross divisional disruption of delivering goods and services to the shareholders.
