WOMEN
My Greeting to all women…
As the women celebrates international
women day on 8th march I express my
gratitude to all my women….
INTRODUCTION;
The future is exciting. Let's build a
gender balanced world.
Everyone has a part to play - all the
time, everywhere. From grassroots
activism to worldwide action, we are
entering an exciting period of history
where the world expects balance. We
notice its absence and celebrate its
presence. Let's all help create
a #Balance for Better.
International Women's Day (IWD)
It is celebrated on March 8 every year. ...
After women gained suffrage in Soviet Russia in
1917, March 8 became a national holiday there.
The day was then predominantly celebrated by the
socialist movement and communist countries until it
was adopted in 1975 by the United Nations.
Objectives:
The objective of Women’s Day is to express love and
gratitude towards women’s’ contribution to our lives and
society.
 It honours the power and struggles of women who
have broken all barriers and reached the pinnacle of
success in every sphere of life.
Today, women across the globe actively participate in
politics, education, social work, corporate, sports, IT,
research & development, innovation and diverse fields,
and have left their footprints.
Women today…
Nowadays women have more rights than the past
 Can vote
Can study
 Can work
 Can hold a political role
Let's build a gender-balanced
world
 Gender equality, also known as sexual
equality, is the state of equal ease of
access to resources and opportunities
regardless of gender, including economic
participation and decision-making; and the
state of valuing different behaviors,
aspirations and needs equally, regardless of
gender.
 The problem lies in the lack of adequate
legislation, in others the principal problem is
not as much the lack of a legal framework,
but the fact is that most women do not know
their legal rights.
This is especially the case as many of
the laws dealing with women's rights are of
recent date. This may apply to a wide range
of abuses, ranging from domestic violence
to employment discrimination
Women's rights
 Women's rights are the rights and
entitlements claimed for women and girls
worldwide, and formed the basis for the
women's rights movement in the nineteenth
century and feminists movIn some countries,
these rights are institutionalized or supported
by law, local custom, and behavior, whereas
in others they are ignored and suppressed.
 They differ from broader notions
of human rights through claims of an
inherent historical and traditional bias
against the exercise of rights by
women and girls, in favor of men and
boys.
Motivate others
 So put your hands out and strike the
#Balance for Better pose and make
International Women's Day YOUR day
- and do what you can to truly make a
positive difference for women
everywhere.
Amplify via social media:
Amplify via social media:
social media are interactive computer-
mediated technologies that facilitate the
creation and sharing of information, ideas,
career interests and other forms of expression
via virtual communities and networks.
so,Post your message on social media
with your "hands out" balance pose for a strong
call-to-action for others to also help forge
a #BalanceforBetter.
Take action
 Create your personal action plan and
match your power and passion with
actions you can take to make a difference,
or jump straight in and start exploring.
 For International Women's Day 2019 and
beyond, how will you #BalanceforBetter
Think equal, build smart,
innovate for change
Think equal, build smart,
innovate for change
 International Women’s Day is a time to
reflect on progress made, to call for
change and to celebrate acts of
courage and determination by ordinary
women who have played an
extraordinary role in the history of their
countries and communities.
 Innovation and technology provide
unprecedented opportunities, yet trends
indicate a growing gender digital divide
and women are under-represented in the
field of science, technology, engineering,
mathematics and design.

It prevents them from developing and
influencing gender-responsive innovations
to achieve transformative gains for society.
 From mobile banking to artificial
intelligence and the internet of things, it is
vital that women’s ideas and experiences
equally influence the design and
implementation of the innovations that
shape our future societies.
Empowering Women
Empowering women in India is very
necessary to bring gender equality or we
can say that gender equality is very
necessary to empower women.
Gender equality is the first step
to bring women empowerment in India.
Men should not understand that women
are made only to handle household
chores or take responsibility of home and
family.
Women Empowerment itself elaborates that
Social Rights , Political Rights , Economic
stability , judicial strength and all other rights
should be also equal to women. There should
be no discrimination between men and
woman. Women should now there
fundamental and social rights which they get
once they born.
Women should also identify their
strengths and abilities, and move towards
a world of empowerment. On the event of
Women’s Day, let us all promise to create
a better world to live in.
