Editor's Notes
Planning is where we set goals, objectives, strategies, and plan. Then there is organizing in the business. This is were structure, human resource, and management come in. The next step would to start leading. This is were we motivate the people; show leadership to the people; communicate to the people; and individual and group behavior. The last step is to control. This is were there needs to be standards set, measurement, comparison, and actions put into place. ReferenceManagement Control - Image Results. (2012). Setting performance standards will show the staff what is expected of them at all times. One why to show the staff is the manager show them by doing it them selves. Measuring performance is the next step of the controlling process. To measure the staffs performance is watching the person in action to see what kind of work they are really doing. The person that is over seeing the staff can ask in-depth questions to make sure the staff knows what they are doing. The company can all so use written reports. This will show what this person does on a daily basses. The company then can compare the performance with the standards of the business. This will help the business to know what they need to do with the person to help them to perform better and to better the business.ReferinceUniversity of Phoenix. Controlling, Learning, and Changing.
