Not another
            social network!

            Yes, and an important one
            if SEO (Search engine optimization
or being found in the search results)
            matters to you.

Facebook. Linkedin and twitter are great for
            socializing and sharing.
            Keep doing those.

However, a network run by google
            directly impacts google search.

            Google indexes google+ posts.
            This is impacting
            search engine results
            and why you need to
            be there if you want
            to increase your SEO.

                                          are not influenced by
                                          facebook posts.

                                          That’s why !

Google+ enables you to create an
            indexable profile for yourself.

            found for.

            Make your profile complete.

Create your Profile

As of this writing, the SEO meta
description for this profile/page is what
you type in Name, tagline, occupation,
            employer fields.

In your Introduction area you can
            include LINKS. USE KEYWORDS you
want to be known for, describe your
            specialties, market areas.
You can write quite a bit in the
            introduction section.

// Page 7
Create circles of people and interact
You can connect with people with similar interests, people you don’t even
know yet! Search for your interests to find others to include in your circles.
            +1 their posts and comment.

            1. Enter criteria at top. Matches come up. 2. click add to circle (if a person) or
Click into the person or business follow (for a business)

                                                                            3. Select a circle

Circling allows you to group people by interest. For example, you may
want a First Weber Circle, or an Active Rain friends circle, a ‘Realtors
to learn from’ circle, family, etc. When you post something to
google+, you can choose which circle you send the post to, or you
can select PUBLIC. Public may be best unless you have something
specific to share with a certain group.

// Page 8

You can also use this new feature
            to find people

Communities

Communities are a great way to
             find people with similar interests.
             Look for communities at this
             icon.

Select the ones that sound good.
Some will let you join right away,
             others approve you before
             adding.

             You can also create
             a community
             and moderate it.

// Page 10
Sharing

What should I share? If you have a blog,
post links to your posts on google+,
making sure to use the headline space
             wisely.

Real estate agents with blogs can benefit
greatly from creating content around their
subject of choice and posting links to that
content here. You can even use
google+ like a blog if you do not have
a blog. The content you write "right here"
in this space is indexed by google. Write
             something about your business, your
market. Just sharing and +1-ing articles is
             not enough.

Google is looking for CONTENT to prove
you know what you are talking about, that
you have knowledge to share on the
             subject.

Sharing: How to share a link the right way
Make it public, have a profile
             picture & make the title
             meaningful.
You can write as much detail as
you want when you are sharing
a link. Google indexes this title
             so use your keywords.

             TIPS:
             Do not be one of
             those blue heads.
             Upload a picture!
