- By adopting a lean and more integrated project delivery process we were able to fix a broken budget and deliver a signature LEED Gold project that exceeded our expectations for value and performance. Our team was able to achieve $6m in value management savings, deliver a complicated laboratory project with 70% laboratory space, a green house and a vivarium for $320 psf. We were also able to get in the ground early with 50% drawings and deliver the project on time with less than a 2% contingency. Traditional projects often just focus on delivering successful projects which is getting more challenging as construction costs rise. It is getting more challenging to close the gap. Qualified builders need to be engaged at THE START of a project to achieve “Best Value”
