Central Asia is an important geopolitical region for several reasons: 1) It is rich in natural resources like natural gas and located along key trade routes like the Silk Road, making it strategically important. 2) Major powers like the US, Russia, China, and European states have economic and security interests in the region due to its resources and location bordering Afghanistan and Pakistan. 3) Central Asia experienced growing attention after the 9/11 attacks as countries sought to curb terrorist groups operating in the region and secure strategic transportation routes for trade and energy pipelines.

19. CONCLUSION:
CENTRAL-ASIA region is not only important for Russian Federation but due to
its strategic and trade route location it make true the MAKINDER HEART
LAND theory ……
C.A states are searching in new allies and powers b/c still these state are in the
state of developing …. Therefore every super power or state like USA, China,
India and Russia wanted to capture them ( in sense of trade and resources)..B/c
these states provide them route towards not only to the trade but also to enter in
SOUTH ASIA …
The Central Asian states are highly involved in drug trafficking and smuggling
also.. Role of terrorist organizations also prevailed there and the ISLAMIC
factor is one major factor for other Islamic states to look towards it.
