it won’t be news to anyone if you share it.
Their content is already widely shared
so it’s unlikely to make much of an impact.

everything is in one place. And you
can divide content into categories
(e.g. sites about social media
together, tech,
seo etc. whichever way you like).
It also marks the articles you have
read already.
A great tool to use daily when
reading your favourite content.
FEEDLY
Although Pinterest is not as time sensitive as Feedly, it is also
a great source of good content. Plus, it usually has great
creatives that go with the content.
It’s a good alternative because it rarely has the same content
as other social media platforms. Find the content on Pinterest
and share somewhere else!

BOOKMARKING
Bookmarking is not only a great way to share your own content,
it’s also a perfect way to reach interesting sites on the Internet.
Stumbleupon is one of the tools, you simply select the category
you’re interested in and based on how many people like the site
you get a chance to see the content and also decide whether you
like it or not (and if you do you can, of course, share it on social).

Another great source of insightful
presentations. It’s not that
common to share content from
Slideshare so you don’t have to
fear duplication and the content
range is huge. Plus, it’s owned
by LinkedIn so when shared on
LinkedIn it gets a nice preview.

Use Google Alerts to receive email updates related to
your industry. Go to Google Alerts and enter the keyword
or search query you want to monitor. You will receive a
list of interesting articles based on the queries you enter.

Where to find the best content to share

  • 1. WHERE TO FIND THE BEST CONTENT TO SHARE
  • 2. How do I do it right? Where do I find the right content? SOCIAL MEDIA HAS BECOME A RACE OF WHO WILL SHARE THE MOST INTERESTING PIECES OF CONTENT AND WHO WILL BE THE FIRST ONE TO SHARE IT.
  • 3. WE WOULDN’T RECOMMEND FOCUSING ON THE BIGGEST PLATFORMS LIKE MASHABLE OR BUZZFEED BECAUSE: These sources have a large following so it won’t be news to anyone if you share it. Their content is already widely shared so it’s unlikely to make much of an impact. 2 1 However, if you do decide to share the news, it would be better if you add your own opinion to it. Writing a short blog about it and redirecting the traffic to your site is a good way to capitalise on trends.
  • 4. WHY SHARE OTHER PEOPLE’S CONTENT? Build your reputation Be known for what you love and what you’re good at. Sharing is a great way to demonstrate your expertise. Become a go-to person Be recognized as a source of value in your niche. Elevate your visibility Grow your fans and followers significantly by keeping your social accounts up-to-date and interesting. Grow connections It's a new way to make friends in your industry especially with the experts and influencers. Keep in mind: Share other people's content as you would want your own to be shared. Remember to mention them or source the author. Stay top-of-mind with your followers Stay connected with your fans, you need to post regular updates that matter to them. So when they need something, you will be the first one they turn to.
  • 5. A great tool for browsing through your favourite sites. You don’t have to visit each site separately, thanks to Feedly everything is in one place. And you can divide content into categories (e.g. sites about social media together, tech, seo etc. whichever way you like). It also marks the articles you have read already.   • 6. Although Pinterest is not as time sensitive as Feedly, it is also a great source of good content. Plus, it usually has great creatives that go with the content.   • 7. BOOKMARKING Bookmarking is not only a great way to share your own content, it’s also a perfect way to reach interesting sites on the Internet. Stumbleupon is one of the tools, you simply select the category you’re interested in and based on how many people like the site you get a chance to see the content and also decide whether you like it or not (and if you do you can, of course, share it on social).   • 8. Another great source of insightful presentations. It’s not that common to share content from Slideshare so you don’t have to fear duplication and the content range is huge. Plus, it’s owned by LinkedIn so when shared on LinkedIn it gets a nice preview. SLIDESHARE
