A press conference has been scheduled for 1:45 p.m. in Room 209 of the West Union, on Duke’s West Campus. It will feature Goodall and Anne Pusey, a collaborator with Goodall who is chair of Duke’s Department of Evolutionary Anthropology and director of the new research center, which houses more than 50 years of Goodall's field data from Tanzania. Goodall, founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and a UN Messenger of Peace, will also be giving a public lecture while at Duke. B-roll of the data archive at Duke also will be available.
