Screener (PASS) to five of my seven students in my summer middle school English

Intro: The state of nature is an important and relevant philosophical idea that has
been discussed and debated for a long time. The reason it is such a key topic in
philosophy is it delves into the reasoning behind why man had to create political
society. In order to properly understand the philosophy of the state of nature it is
important to look at conflicting viewpoints about it in order to understand it with less
bias. Thomas Hobbes and Jean Jacques Rosseau both have differing viewpoints
regarding the state of nature. Hobbes feels that man s natural state is cowardly,
fearful, almost paranoid, so man created political society in order to protect himself.
Rosseau, on the other hand, feels that man was much happier before political society
was created. Their viewpoints differ regarding the state of nature, man s phase after
leasing their state of nature, and the basis and legitimacy of the social contract.

High School: The Early Years There were plenty of memories in high school. Just
making it to high school was a good memory. Most of them were during my
freshman, sophomore, and junior years. When my freshman year had begun I was

football season and I was like there s no way I m going to let them treat me like a

Another theory that is very reminiscent of behaviorism is the mechanistic theory in
which humans do not engage in cognition, but rather respond automatically to stimuli
in their environment. The animalistic theory also does not give humans enough
credit, which would be the exact opposite of humanistic psychology. It states that we
as humans act in the same ways as animals, namely primates, and while we do share
some behaviors and some amount of intelligence, I do not think that there are enough

section serves its own function to the hearing of an individual. The external portion
of the ear includes the auricle, the auditory canal, and the eardrum outer layer. The
auricle is the cartilage that is covered by skin on opposite sides of the head, the
auditory canal, more commonly called the earcanal, is the tunnel in which sound
waves travel down, and the ear drum, also known as the tympanic membrane. The
function of the auricle is to collect sound and act as a funnel that amplifies that
sound down into the auditory canal (Middlebrooks and Green, 1991). The ear canal
serves to transfer sound to the ear drum and the secretion of earwax which helps

begin . Instead of contesting Brutus, Cassius just lets it pass and concedes to not
