United States Army veteran Col (R) Reese Turner serves as the director of operations and a trainer at ProFormance Health and Well-being and as a spin instructor at Cyclebar Middletown Station. Since 2020, Col (R) Reese Turner has also served as an F45 coach for up to 36 patrons with F45 Lyndon in Louisville, Kentucky. Created in Australia, F45 workouts fuse several training styles into one 45-minute functional training class. Designed to unify muscle groups of the body, the workouts focus on movements that help support and improve the way humans move naturally through their daily lives. Rather than focusing on building muscle volume, as weightlifting often does, functional movement works to counter muscle imbalances and build a strong foundation. Because functional movement training utilizes multiple muscle groups simultaneously, it is an effective way to burn fat and improve athletic performance. F45 workouts utilize cutting-edge technology to measure progress. Wall-mounted televisions clearly display workout diagrams, while individual heart-rate monitors track effort in real time. The group aspect of each workout fuels motivation through community, pushing each member to meet and exceed their health and fitness goals.
