2. HARD WAREThe apple macs were used for the
editing process I learned that the macs
had software that was more updated
than the pc and were a lot faster with
editing rendering and exporting
videos.
The Dell PC and monitor is the one of the
main sources of making sure the project
went as planned. They helped with the
entire pre-production and can be used to
edit and also develop software and analysis
as well as research skills.
The canon cameras were used to film the
opening sequence. These helped me learn
how important it is to make sure you get
the right angle to match the focus and the
lighting. This also helped me learn how
important it is to take more then one shot
of a scene.
The tripods helped me learn how to
steady the shots and to how to get the
right shot in a steady position. I also did
learn though not to rely on it too much
and to experiment with shots and
angles instead of just using the basics.
The shoulder rig helped me learn
to take more mobile shots while
keep the camera steady. It helped
make shots fluid and different.
The zoom mic and rode
microphone helped
teach me about dubbing
over lines and lip-
syncing. These helped us
to have clearer audio in
terms od dialogue.
3. SOFTWAREPremier pro was the main
source for getting the video
edited and exported. This
helped teach me about
putting clips together and
using different effects and
transitions and how to scrap
footage.
Photoshop was the
software used to
create a poster to
attract the audience
and develop the skill
of manipulating
images.
InDesign was used to create
a double page magazine
spread which had the review
of the film as if it was from
an outside perspective and
someone just watched it.
PowerPoint was used
for the pitch we fist did
for our film. This
contained plot,
characters, scenes and
more. It helped us note
wise when we had our
pitch.
Adobe acrobat was
used to convert the
notes form the pitch
and our script and
storyboard so that it
could be uploaded.
And used for the
f9ilming process.
Microsoft word was the
basis for most of the
pre-production. It was
the format for our call
sheet, treatment, props
and equipment and
more.
QuickTime player was the
format in which the final
edited movie from premier
pro was exported as. This
file was then uploaded to
YouTube to make the
video public.
4. SOCIAL MEDIAWordPress holds all contents of
the project from research too
evaluation. This is where the
whole project will be to get
graded and have feedback and
give people the chance to view
all the work. This has also helped
me with organising my work.
YouTube is the website
where the final video is
uploaded and any
additional videos that may
be used for evaluation
purposes.
Celtx is a website that can be
used to create scripts for
projects just like this one and
even for real film productions.
This website helped us make
our own authentic script that
looked professional.
Sound cloud was used to
upload any audio files that
may have been created for
the evaluation part of the
project such as a focus
group, directors
commentary or even initial
ideas.
Slide share is a website
where PowerPoint like
this on can be uploaded
and be available or the
public to view. The is can
also be used for
evaluation purposes.
