Through constructing his product, Jack Rust learned several technologies for documentation, data collection, distribution, and editing. He used Blogger to document his coursework, SurveyMonkey to collect opinions, YouTube to display his product to a younger audience, and Final Cut Pro for editing shots and applying filters. Overall, he gained skills in accurate documentation, electronic surveys, video editing and distribution through social media.

1. What have you learnt about technologies from
the process of constructing this product?

2. During my research into the project, I was tasked with setting
up a blog to document my coursework on. I used blogger to
do this. Through writing on a blog, I have gained the skills
necessary to accurately document the progression of a task
in an understandable way.
In order to gain people's opinions on our proposed piece,
we used SurveyMonkey. Through the use of this form of
data collection, I found that electronic surveys are a quick
end easy way to collect information that turns out to be very
effective.
YouTube was used to display our piece. Through using this
website and linking it with my blog, I found that it was an
effective way to get my product across to a younger audience
as a younger demographic are the most frequent users of
YouTube.

3. To edit our piece, we used Final Cut Pro. Through the use of this editing tool, I have learned how to
cut from shot to shot; making sure that the transition is as seamless as possible. We edited
both our preliminary task and our final 2 minute opening scene using this tool. I feel that, since the
eliminary task, my editing skills have increased dramatically as is evident from watching both product
