2. Planning
 We started off by discussing ideas for our two minute
opening sequence for a film. Firstly as a group we had
decided to agree on what genre we wanted to use.
 The options were:
 Horror
 Action
 Thriller

3. Decision
 We Decided to go with an action genre since it was
the most interesting genre to do

4. Roles in the group
 Director- Ifaz Chowdhury
 Cameraman- Conor Daly
 Editor- Barry Turi

5. Production schedule
 We had assigned different sections of the production
schedule to our group
 Ifaz was responsible to finish the schedule in his own
time.

7. Filming
 As a group we had decided that the best time to film
our production would be during the October half term.
 We did this because it had suited all of us including
the actors.

8. Location
 We will be filming at Barry’s house because it was
local for our actors to film.

 Completion of various tasks on our production
schedule such as the:
 Narrative structure
 Actor release form
 Pre Questionnaires

11. Deadline
 The deadline has been extended therefore we no
longer need to film during the October break.
 As a group we decided to film later which allows us to
focus on the final details in the product.

12. Actors
 We are certain of who will take part in our production,
we need to inform them of the roles that they will be
plying also we need to let them know the deadline for
our project so they can free their timetable for our film.

14. Half term
 Since we had cancel filming during the October break
we had decide to focus on our coursework and focus
on our production making sure every detail is perfect.

15. Letters of permission
 The letters of permission for our actors parents have
been produced, so now we have to distribute it to the
parents. This will allow us to continue the process for
our filming production

17. Production Schedule
 The production schedule has been adjusted in terms
of dates and so now our work is much more
organised.
 This allows us to give more time to our film so it can
be s perfect as possible.

18. Location
 The decision on the location for our film has now been
settled.
 We have asked permission from the house owner and
have been confirmed access to it, so it is ready for
use.

20. Filming Practice
 In preparation for filming we have agreed to organise
a rehearsal with our actors during December .
 We will most likely rehearse during the Christmas
holidays.

21. Budget
 As a group we need to discuss the budget because
we all have to contribute to the money we need to
spend.
 Therefore, we need to discuss about how much we
are we are going spend on our production and what
we are going to spend it on.

27/11/15

23. Confirmation
 We have confirmed the rehearsal dates with our
actors over the Christmas holidays so this allows us to
be prepared for filming during the January period.
 Location is ready for use.

24. Costume
 As a team we need to discuss whether our actors will
be using their costume or if we have to provide it for
them.
 If we end up providing our actors with a costume, we
need to discuss how much we are willing to spend as
a group.

11/01/16

26. Filming Schedule
 On Saturday 16th January, we have planned to film at
12pm until 3pm at our confirmed location. Our actors
have been informed about the filming date and where
to meet.
 Depending on how much filming we can get done on
Saturday, we may have to film on another Saturday so
we can complete it.

27. Camera equipment
 Luckily for our group Barry has his own camera and the
other equipment which had saved a lot of time when it
came to filming since the equipment will be already sorted
out.
 The equipments we used were the:
 nikon D3300
 Battery for camera
 Tri-pod
 SD card

20/01/16

29. Filming
 For our filming, we went to our location and filmed our
production. Filming went well but it didn’t turn out
perfect due to minor mistakes such as the timing of
shots and that there was not enough variety of shots.
 However we were not able to completely finish the
filming as we didn't have enough time. We are
planning to film again and also re-do the shots.

30. Planning
 Barry and I looked back over our work and we had
wrote down the things that need to be adjusted, added
or taken out.
 This list will be reviewed as we film next time so we
can make sure everything turns out to be correct.

32. Filming update
 We are filming again on Saturday 5th February which
me and the group have decided to do as well as the
actors.
 We are re-filming specific parts such as the shoot out
between the two gangs.

34. Filming Progress
 We have completed filming everything, we had faced
a few problems with the production such as the actors
not being available for filming. This problem was
overcome due to replacing the actors.

35. Editing
 Most of the Editing is almost completed, barry (Editor)
is in the process of finishing the film, he just needs to
add in a few sounds and it will be complete
