The document discusses sustainable design strategies for fashion and product designers. It explains that designers have a large impact on a product's environmental footprint since most impacts are determined during the design phase. The document then covers sustainable design topics like life cycle thinking, biomimicry, and designing for disassembly. Designers are encouraged to consider issues like energy and resource use, emissions, and a product's full life cycle from material sourcing to end of use. The goal is to educate and equip designers with strategies to create more sustainable products and materials.

Ask anyone who has ever been a part of a project, and they'll agree; your stakeholders are the key to your project's success. Yet the flip side to that coin is that often, problem stakeholders can bring about the demise of even the best planned project, impacting the business, end users, and the project team associated with that failure. The good news is that there is something you can do to prevent these situations from arising, or at least mitigate their effects. The best way to deal with an issue is to eliminate the root cause, and with that in mind, this session will identify the 6 worst offending stakeholders in terms of creating conflict and chaos, and bringing negativity to your projects. In this sessions, attendees will examine the many types of stakeholders that can bring a project down from the inside, and will contribute to a discussion on the biggest contributors of risk and conflict on a project.

Ensuring that people move from theory to practical application is imperative. Creating strong social learning is the key to commitment and engagement. Validating and affirming participants' comments is the way to create a positive learning environment.
