For website translation, Rimini Street relied on the traditional
manual translation process of copying-and-pasting content —
meaning they had to find the files to be translated, then copy,
paste and send the content to a translation partner; finally, copy,
paste and re-insert the translated content into the new files or
content management system (CMS) pages.
This manual process of copy-and-paste is slow and error-prone.
For their multilingual website, Rimini Street wanted a different
solution that could deploy translations quickly and accurately,
as well as scale to meet their expanding global needs. They
wanted access to a depth of translation resources with subject
matter expertise, coupled with integration with their existing
CMS to keep up with the fast pace of their business.

The Ingeniux + Venga Integration creates a seamless website
translation integration within the Ingeniux CMS. With the
integration, all the copying and pasting or posting files is
removed from the process. Instead, files are maintained directly
within the integrated system. Posting the translated pages to the
website takes a couple of seconds. The result takes the pain and
long timelines out of web translation while also simplifying the
process. This integration reduces errors and timelines and at the
same time increases productivity, speed, continuity, consistency,
and reliability.
The biggest benefit? The Ingeniux + Venga Integration cuts the
traditional website translation process in half, from eight steps
to four.

8. Here’s How It Works
The Rimini Street web marketing team determined which pages
and content should be translated into the desired language,
Japanese. These content files were identified and then sent to
Venga within the Ingeniux CMS platform. We’d already set up an
automated workflow so that these files went into our translation
management system (TMS) directly. We created a glossary of
terminology, and then assigned the
pages to professional Japanese linguists.
The translation integration with Venga was already within the
Ingeniux CMS. That meant the translation process could begin
immediately once the files were chosen. This integration saves
hours of time due to the automation of file transfers within
the CMS.
Without the integration, someone would have had to manually
export files to a desktop computer and re-configure them to
a certain file type. Then, it would have been necessary to give

9. an individual name to correspond to the web page name, requiring
an additional time-consuming quality assurance (QA) step of double-
checking site architecture and naming conventions.
Venga carefully selected and vetted Japanese translators to match
Rimini Street’s subject matter expertise. Since the translation team
received the files within seconds of their submission, they could
get down to work right away. They completed the translations of
about 9,000 words well within the expected deadline and much
faster than would have been completed using the old process.
Finalized translated files were automatically sent back to the CMS
for integration into the appropriate pages. No need to manually
copy, paste, and match the translated file to its appropriate
webpage. The CMS handled all the details cleanly and quickly.
With the translated content delivered and on the page, Rimini
Street’s team then verified that each page they wanted had
indeed been translated. They could also preview each translated
page in the CMS. Lastly, they could see if any areas still required
translation, such as images embedded in text and PDF files.
Rimini Street then published all the content on a staging server
and Venga conducted a linguistic quality assurance (LQA) check
using members of our team. Then, presto, the site was ready to
launch in Japanese. The launch went quickly and seamlessly,
thanks to the Ingeniux + Venga Integration.

10. The Result
Rimini Street’s migration to the Venga + Ingeniux Integration
went very smoothly. Instead of the traditional eight steps website
translation requires, with our Ingeniux CMS integration we could
streamline the process into four steps. Venga provided Rimini
Street translations within two weeks; because of the seamless
integration with the Ingeniux CMS, the Japanese website could
be launched within one month.

11. Rimini Street was extremely satisfied with the speed and quality
of the translations and the process in general. In fact, they
expanded this solution into other languages, including German,
Brazilian Portuguese, Arabic, French, Hebrew, Traditional Chinese,
and Simplified Chinese. For Arabic and Hebrew, two right-to-left
(RTL) languages, our integrated translation system introduced
new efficiencies.
In the old manual copy-and-paste method, companies frequently
have issues with pasting the content back into the website as the
directionality can easily get confused. Through the integration,
the directionality is adjusted automatically and correctly. This is
yet another example of how the CMS integration works seamlessly
while still ensuring the highest quality, reliability, and consistency.
