Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.

Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.
Connector Corner: Automate dynamic content and events by pushing a buttonDianaGray10
Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message

"Impact of front-end architecture on development cost", Viktor TurskyiFwdays
I have heard many times that architecture is not important for the front-end. Also, many times I have seen how developers implement features on the front-end just following the standard rules for a framework and think that this is enough to successfully launch the project, and then the project fails. How to prevent this and what approach to choose? I have launched dozens of complex projects and during the talk we will analyze which approaches have worked for me and which have not.
2. Customization: Adding Buttons & Links to Your Website
A WebsiteAlive How-To Guide
This document will highlight the steps you need to add call-to-action buttons to your website allowing your visitors to easily live chat with you
or your employees. In order to complete these steps you or your website developer must have access to your website pages on your server.
If you need further assistance, help or support, please feel free to visit us at
www.websitealive.com for more information.
3. Overview
In order to customize buttons and links, you must be logged into your Administrator account.
WebsiteAlive offers a few ways to utilize call-to-action buttons:
An Embedded Icon is a call-to-action button that is embedded within the webpage. When clicked, it opens a live chat or click-to-call
interface that is also embedded within the webpage (i.e., is not a pop-up window). The call-to-action and interface adheres to the side of
the browser window at all times, and can be placed on whichever side you prefer.
Note: Embedded Icons are the only call-to-action buttons that enable the tracking code.
Note: If you already have your code from previous Embedded Icon buttons, you WILL NOT need to reinstall the code.
Buttons are images that are placed statically in various parts of your pages. Unlike Embedded Icons, Buttons only allow a live chat or
click-to-call window interface as a pop-up. Otherwise, they work the same.
Links work exactly like Buttons but are only text links, created using a URL shortener. These are great for weaving into website text, the
body or signature of emails, or social media campaigns and postings.
Note: You may use all 3 methods above in a single page or single website, at the same time.
4. Customizing an Embedded Icon
1. Go to Basics > Websites, Code & Customize in the left menu.
2. On the right side of the screen, you will see four button options available to you.
