Main disadvantages Can be summarised with Anne Bartlett-Brag statement: “ Guidance and support from the educator is essential throughout this pathway, as any technological challenge or miscomprehension of concepts can dominate the learners’ attention and become an impassable barrier unless addressed.”   All technology needs to be used where needed and not for the sake of, bearing in mind that not all learners are at the same stage of ability of use.
Summary Weblogs, Wiki’s and e-portfolios are all web 2.0 technologies. They are an electronic journal. The way in which each is used differentiates one from the other E-portfolios are used to put your profile, credentials or resume on line Weblogs and Wiki’s are used for posts of any information with weblogs only be able to be edited by the owner, and; wiki’s being able to be edited by any member of the wiki
