Two preschools, one using the Creative Curriculum model and one using the Reggio Emilia model, transformed their curriculum to incorporate more technology. At the Creative Curriculum school, students used iPads to scan personalized barcodes to find their seats at snack time, then expanded the project to go on scavenger hunts around the school. At the Reggio Emilia school, students used iPads and book creation apps to make digital books about their families to share with their families and each other. Both schools found that the technology engaged students and teachers, increased skills, and helped bridge the gap between home and school.
