"Web 2.0is the term used to describe a
 second generation of the World Wide
 Web that allows people to collaborate
    and share information online.
Are You a Web 2.0 Educator?
   In the Web 2.0 educators' classrooms, students do not
    "spend much of the day as their great-grandparents
    once did: sitting in rows, listening to teachers lecture,
    scribbling notes by hand, reading from textbooks that
    are out of date by the time they are printed." How to
    Bring Our Schools Out of the 20th Century
    The Web 2.0 educators incorporate into their teaching
    the Web 2.0 tools: dynamic websites, blogs, video
    blogs, podcasts, photo and video sharing, feed
    readers, wikis, social networks, online word
    processors, spreadsheets, and presentations.
The Web 2.0 teach
   have RSS feed readers
   subscribe to news and blogs in their fields
   have their own blogs, wikis, and websites
   share their best practices with others via
    podcasts, photo or video sharing
   effectively supervise their students through
    RSS
   use wikis and online word processors,
    spreadsheets, and presentations to
    collaborate with their colleagues and students
   adding new technologies to their curriculum.
Web 2.0
   I think the pinky of my company this
    application useful.I can through this
    application,do not understandtheir own
    issues into all aspects of the application,
    so that we can give adviceand solve the
    problem.
Online Word Processors,
    Spreadsheets, and Presentations
   In 5-10 years, our computer desktops will look
    different. For example, instead of Microsoft, many
    schools will be using web-based and open-source
    software.
    Educators can create documents and spreadsheets by
    using Google's free web-based software
    Docs&Spreadsheets. While Microsoft Word
    documents usually are saved on a hard drive, Google
    docs & spreadsheets and Zoho Office are located on
    the Web and can be accessed from any computer
    around the World. The teachers can invite colleagues
    and students for collaboration.
What do you think about the future
             of technology?
   I think the future of science and
    technology,will make people's lives be
    come more convenient.However, this will
    make people become over-dependent on
    technology, to developan inert.

  • 5. Online Word Processors, Spreadsheets, and Presentations  In 5-10 years, our computer desktops will look different. For example, instead of Microsoft, many schools will be using web-based and open-source software. Educators can create documents and spreadsheets by using Google's free web-based software Docs&Spreadsheets. While Microsoft Word documents usually are saved on a hard drive, Google docs & spreadsheets and Zoho Office are located on the Web and can be accessed from any computer around the World. The teachers can invite colleagues and students for collaboration.
