MOVING TOWARD WEB 2.0 In this article by Steve Hargadon, He goes through what he believes are main benefits of Web 2.0 in the classroom Engagement This is obviously the engaging of students with things like blogs or forums. Authenticity Not just doing work for teachers anymore but for the audience of the world. Creativity A student can do more and show more people there different abilities. The older teachers are not aware of these new techniques and most are scared to learn new styles. 12. MY CONCLUSION… This class and this assignment researching what Web 2.0 is exactly and what it is made of, has really opened up my eyes on all the new tools out there. It was confusing at first, but after awhile I got the hang of it and I am sure with practice and continuing my research and keeping up-to-date with the technologies.
