WATER BAPTISM
Water baptism is very essential for Christians but the challenge is that many people don’t really
understand the depth of water baptism. With many religion and religious denomination that have

come up, there have been great confusion in this topic of water baptism but I thank the Lord for His
absolute word that never change, wisdom of men will pass away but is word will remain forever.
1Peter 1:24For, “All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass
withers and the flowers fall, 25but the word of the Lord stands forever.”
His word will direct us to all truths we need in our walk with the Lord.
In this note am going to tackle this topic in brief as the Lord leads me. At the beginning we see
John the BAPTIST proclaiming the Gospel of repentance and preparing the way for the coming of
the Messiah.
Isaiah 40:3A voice of one calling: “In the desert prepare the way for the Lorda; make straight in the
wilderness a highway for our God.b
John the Baptist, proclaim that He baptizes with water into repentance but one whose sandal he
cannot put on is coming to baptize with the Holy Spirit and the fire. And this is our Lord Jesus.
Matthew 3:11"I baptize you with[b] water for repentance. But after me will come one who is more
powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and
with fire. 12His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his
wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire."
Then Jesus comes on the scene and John the Baptist tries to refuse to baptize Him,
13Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. 14But John tried to deter
him, saying, "I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?"
Jesus then insists to be baptized with John. What is the revelation of why Jesus insist to be
baptized yet He is the righteous one? This question must make us think and meditate upon the
depth of the word of God. Jesus proclaim that His baptism is to fulfill all righteousness. What is this
all righteousness Jesus was speaking about?
Many believers today still don’t understand the meaning of all righteousness. When Jesus spoke of
all righteousness he spoke of fulfillment of the law, the basic fundamental of Christian walk, and
that is redemption by water, blood and the Spirit. This three fundamentals for a Christians are very
important for us to inherit the Kingdom of God. But in today society we have not paid much
attention to this three fundamental of Christian walk. Water, blood and the Spirit, this three work
together in us to fulfill all righteousness of God in us, they bring us to absolute worship with God.
When this three are embedded in our lives we cannot live no longer like this corrupt world but live
to Glorify the Lord in our body , mind and Soul.
Therefore Jesus insists to John that He must be Baptist by him. The main reason is to fulfill all
righteousness. In other words, if Jesus could have not be baptized, then the three
fundamentals(water, blood and the Spirit) could have not been fulfilled in His life. Matt3:15Jesus
replied, "Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness." Then John
consented.
Many believers still don’t understand what Jesus meant by all righteousness, but by Spiritual
revelation we now come to realize Jesus meant fulfillment of the three fundamentals in a believers
life, that a believer may be a perfect being ready to do and accomplish the purpose of God.
I John 5:6This is he who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ; not by the water only but by the
water and the blood. And the Spirit is the one who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. 7For
there are three that testify: 8the Spirit and the water and the blood; and these three agree.
The above scripture awesomely describe the three well, water, blood and the Spirit and all agrees
and work together. This is the reason Jesus had to be baptized that the three may be fulfilled in His
life.
This applies to all who have received the Lord Jesus as their personal savior, they too must fulfill all
righteousness. Jesus with His conversation with the teacher of the law Nicodemus , on how can
somebody be born again, Jesus quickly illustrates to Nicodemus that unless somebody is born of

the Kingdom of God.
John 3:5Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is
born of water and the Spirit. 6Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spiritb gives birth to spirit. 7You
should not be surprised at my saying, ‘Youc must be born again.’ 8The wind blows wherever it
pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is
with everyone born of the Spirit.”
No one can enter the Kingdom of God unless born of water and the Spirit! Yet many Christians
today are sluggish to be water Baptist. If you are a believer and not yet water baptized what are
you still waiting for? Make arrangement for your baptism.
Am overwhelmed to write about water baptism, I remember as a believer I desired to be water
baptized but never got the opportunity because most of the time when baptism could take place, it
could always find me in school. As I grow as a believer I realized there is a fundamental I lack in
my life, I realized my life was not complete, however I knew the Lord and His redemptive plan, but
my life was not fulfilled. It reached a moment I said enough is enough have struggled for long I
must be baptized. During that holiday from school, I insisted in my spirit man, am going to
approach the PASTOR ( Pastor Jeremiah Mugala, my home church pastor) even if he is going to
baptize me as one person. Something was just missing in my life, I was struggling with
unnecessary flesh. Thank the Lord during the Holiday there was a baptism conducted in Nyayo
Stadium in Kenya during Christco Annual Repentance meeting. I was there that chilly morning and
was baptized in that deep water. When I came out I felt the freshness of life I have never felt
before, the breakthrough of the Holy Ghost came upon me. It was as if the flesh was buried and the
inner man resurrected for the glory of God. Immediately things started turning around, I saw the
mighty miracle of God. Some of the things have been praying for now years were answered that
day. What a mystery oh dear Jesus thank you for water baptism for with it we are buried together
with you in your death and resurrected with you in your resurrection.
There is awesome glory in water baptism since I was water Baptist my life dramatically changed, in
heart I wish I could have done it much earlier, I missed a lot since I served the Lord yet I was
incomplete now I understand it clearly why Jesus demanded to be water baptized, every one of us
should be water baptized. Why wait for long, the Kingdom of God is at hand, I love what the
Apostle could do immediately they win souls to the Kingdom of God. I now remember Apostle Peter
send to preach the Gospel among the Gentiles and on the process, the outpour of the Holy Spirit
came down, even the gentiles received the Holy Spirit, they were all in tongues praising and
worshiping the Mighty God of heaven and earth.
Acts 10: 44While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the
message. 45The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of
the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles. 46For they heard them speaking in
tonguesb and praising God.
Then Peter said, what are we waiting for, if this gentiles have received the gift of the Holy Spirit
then we need to baptize them. The same day Peter ordered for them to be water baptized . What a
mighty harvest. I wonder why the body of Christ take century to teach about water baptism and to
take the sheep through this awesome glory of God.
Acts 10:Then Peter said, 47“Can anyone keep these people from being baptized with water? They
have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.” 48So he ordered that they be baptized in the name
of Jesus Christ. Then they asked Peter to stay with them for a few days.
The same happened when the prison guard received Jesus Christ, the Bible say him and all his
family were water baptized. They never waited for long.
Acts 16:30He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
31They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” 32Then
they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house. 33At that hour of the
night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; then immediately he and all his family were
baptized.
The Bible say immediately he and his family were water baptized after they shared the word with
them. So they is no reason for a Christian to wait for long to be baptized. You can receive Christ as
your Lord and savior and on the same day be water baptized.

resurrect with Him, therefore the flesh dies out, meaning dead is finished and now you begin a new
life of walking in the Spirit and not gratifying the desires of the flesh.
Romans 6:1What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2By no
means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? 3Or don’t you know that all of us who
were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4We were therefore buried with him
through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory
of the Father, we too may live a new life.
Therefore there is no excuse for Christians keeping on sinning that grace may abound, because we
have been baptized into his death. This is the reason now the Bible clearly states that he/she who
sins is of the devil for the devil has sinned from the beginning and this is the reason Jesus Christ
appeared to destroy the works of the devil. And no one born of God commits sin for God’s nature
abides in him/her.
1 John 3:8He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the
beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. 9No one who is
born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning,
because he has been born of God. 10This is how we know who the children of God are and who the
children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone
who does not love his brother.
Now through baptize we are born with God for we are buried with Him in his death therefore sin is
swallowed and no more.
Water baptism also is accompanied with resurrection with Christ, it means coming from death to
life.
Romans 6:5If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united
with him in his resurrection. 6For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body
of sin might be done away with,a that we should no longer be slaves to sin— 7because anyone who
has died has been freed from sin. This resurrection with Christ also means the activation of the
inner man to interact with God, it gives room for being born by the Spirit. As we see during the
baptism of Jesus, the Holy Spirit came upon Him. Jesus got baptized with the Spirit on the day of
His baptism.
Matt3:16As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was
opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him. 17And a voice
from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased."
This is the day Jesus gets empowered with the Holy Ghost for the ministry and the Holy Spirit
quickly sends him to the wilderness. This can actually show us the importance of water baptism, as
the flesh dies, we get resurrected with Him with His supernatural power, the Holy Ghost power to
proclaim the Gospel to the four corners of the earth. It is this resurrection that makes us to be alive
in Him. The Lord is returning for believers who are alive. By saying alive I mean spiritually
awakened to hear what the Holy Spirit is speaking to the churches today.
Zechariah 13:8
In the whole land, declares the LORD, two thirds shall be cut off and perish, and one third shall be
left alive.
Romans 6:11
So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.
1 Corinthians 15:22
For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.
Ephesians 2:5
even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ— by grace you have
been saved—
Colossians 2:13
And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive
together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses,
1 Thessalonians 4:17
Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet
the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.

Revelation 3:1
[ To the Church in Sardis ] "And to the angel of the church in Sardis write: 'The words of him who
has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars."'I know your works. You have the reputation of
being alive, but you are dead. Church having reputation of being alive yet spiritually dead.
Your spiritual ears must be alert in this prophetic dispensation but only those born of the Spirit can
understand the hour we live in today. So when we resurrect with Him it means we are also alive in
Him. Christ is not coming for a church that has died but alive Church, not a church that have been
buried in sin, but church that have been empowered to walk in his righteousness by the power of
the Holy Spirit. The body of Christ today, as long us they hold services but inside people are
spiritually dead, many think they are alive but literally they are dead, this is the reason Jesus told
the man let the dead bury their own dead but you follow me, why was Jesus saying this knowing
very well this was the family of this man?
Luke 9:60
And Jesus said to him, "Leave the dead to bury their own dead. But as for you, go and proclaim the
kingdom of God."
Matthew 8:22
And Jesus said to him, "Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead."
This Jesus the Master, was referring to spiritual death and physical death. To those who were still
alive and went to the burial were spiritually dead, however they were taking the body back to the
soil what they never realized that even them they were dead. The difference was that the other
had physically died but them they were spiritually dead. The body of Christ today is spiritually dead,
is the reason they are not able to hear the voice of the ARK ANGEL READY TO BLOW THE
TRUMPET ANNOUNCING THE COMING OF THE MESSIAH TO RAPTURE THE CHURCH OF CHRIST.
The spiritual death in the body of Christ is not making it realize that the hour is late for the
Messiah’s return. The body of Christ have now tuned their ears to false doctrine and teaching based
on this world but they are not tuned to hear the Voice of the Living God Speaking to Nations to
repent and prepare the way for the coming of the Lord. The spiritual death in the church today is
what makes believer enter into falsehood of prosperity Gospel a Gospel so sweet to the flesh, yet
Christ the Messiah gave us a Pascal Lamb without blemish, He gave us unleavened bread to eat,
the bread of truth and sincerity.
1 Corinthians 5:6Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast works through the
whole batch of dough? 7Get rid of the old yeast that you may be a new batch without yeast—as
you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. 8Therefore let us keep the
Festival, not with the old yeast, the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with bread without yeast,
the bread of sincerity and truth.
Is this the bread the church have been eating? The unleavened bread Jesus Christ broke and gave
to the disciples. What happened to the body of Christ that they forgot this unleavened bread and
started eating leaven bread, bread full of yeast. This bread full of yeast the body of Christ have
been eating now for long time is what has brought spiritual blindness. Because now the flesh have
outgrown the Spirit in church, Pastors today are ready to fight repentance and God himself .They
have eaten too much that the Spirit man has no place in church. Too much eating in church is what
have brought the great sleep of believers, that even the sheep have gone to slumber. Prophet
Isaiah says they are all like dogs that cannot back, the shepherds cannot stand to rebuke sin in the
church of today, by preaching the Gospel of sincerity and truth.
Isaiah 56:10 Israel's watchmen are blind,
they all lack knowledge; they are all mute dogs, they cannot bark; they lie around and dream, they
love to sleep. 11 They are dogs with mighty appetites; they never have enough. They are
shepherds who lack understanding; they all turn to their own way, each seeks his own gain.
Sin have been well colored in church that it no longer appears as sin but temptations. Today you
will hear Christians say I was tempted to watch pornography, I was tempted to sleep around I was
tempted to lie, I was tempted to be proud, not knowing this are no longer temptations but sin. This
spiritual slumber has taken the body of Christ to great sleep now they are not able to hear the
VOICE OF THEIR GOD who send to them His only begotten Son that whosoever believe in Him
shall not perish but have eternal life. What happened to the church of Christ? Is it that you have
been eating too much leaven bread now instead of preaching Christ and the cross you teach the

Father is not in him. 16For everything in the world—the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes
and the boasting of what he has and does—comes not from the Father but from the world. 17The
world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.
What happened to you body of believers, why do you forget your Master and went to prostitute
with other wives.
Hosea 2:2 "Rebuke your mother, rebuke her,
for she is not my wife,
and I am not her husband.
Let her remove the adulterous look from her face
and the unfaithfulness from between her breasts. The Lord now is telling the church you are no
longer my wife, you are not my bride no more for you went and prostituted with other women and
men. Jesus is returning for a holy bride not a sexually immoral bride.
Was the blood of Jesus Christ not sufficient enough to redeem you, why go to the world? A moment
of truth have entered into the church of Christ, the church must now return to the unleavened
bread. Only the unleavened bread will wake the church from this great slumber, the unleavened
bread of sincerity and truth. Only this unleavened bread will make the church to be alive and able to
hear the voice of their Master Lord Jesus. If it is so then why the spiritual immaturity in the body of
Christ. Christ is coming for a church that is alive, alive in Him, awaiting for His promises and doing
his will.
We now see the main purpose of baptism is to prepare us for rapture. Is to prepare us to be alive in
Christ doing His will and to be ruptured with Him. This is the reason now the scriptures say we
have a promise of eternal life with Him.
Romans 6:8Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 9For we know
that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over
him. 10The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.
Now baptism promise us eternal life in Christ Jesus. Therefore let us put to death the works of the
flesh and take up the works of the Spirit and prepare ourselves for the coming of the Lord.
Romans 6:. 18You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness…22But
now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap
leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. 23For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God
is eternal life inb Christ Jesus our Lord.
Now the Lord Jesus command all of us, to go to the world and preach the Gospel baptizing them in
the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28:16Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told
them to go. 17When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18Then Jesus came to
them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and
make disciples of all nations, baptizing them ina the name of the Father and of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with
you always, to the very end of the age.”

REPENT AND PREPARE THE WAY, CHRIST THE MESSIAH IS RETURNING FOR A HOLY CHURCH,
MATURE CHURCH, A SPOTLESS BRIDE, A PURE BRIDE, FULLY GROWN TO THE STATURE OF
HIMSELF.
