 What do you like doing at the weekends?
 What do you like most about England?
 What do you like most about Discover Summer?
 What do you like most about your hometown?
 Do you have a pet? What is it and what is it called?
 What is your favourite season and why?
 What is your favourite film and why?
 What workshop are you doing and what have you been doing in it?
 Can you remember at least 4 of the Radley rules?
 What is your favourite word in English and why?
 What is the most difficult thing about learning English?

3. I need 3 more helpers.
1 person needs to update the word of the day.
2 other people need to keep notes of any errors they hear
during the class and tell me.

4. Discovery summer help-sheet.
Brainstorm difficulties in learning a language.
Change groups.
Then think of possible solutions for each of the problems.
Try to make this as DS specific as possible (eg If the class is too difficult, you should
see Greg).
Sts present their advice either in a poster to go up in the corridor in teaching block,
or in a brochure, which can be distributed.
Use modal verbs for
obligation: must,
have to, don’t have
to, should, shouldn’t.
