Existing project
The existing project is based on key commands
using mobile keypad via GSM module. This project
has some drawbacks due to the use of Aurdino.
Operated
by SMS
Operated by
phone call
Disadvantages
The system is network dependent.
If user make any mistake while typing message
format, the message will not be acknowledged
by Aurdino, hence the system will not work.
Proposed project
The proposed
commands using
project is
android

applications
voice
via
Bluetooth.An 8052 series microcontroller 89S52 is
used in this project as a controlling device.

Circuit diagram
Hear we are using 40pin
microcontroller.
The 2 relays are connected
to port 1.0 and 1.1
respectively.
The Bluetooth module is
connected to port 3.0 and
3.1.
Power supply isconnected
to pins 20 and 40.
Features of 89s52
 4.0V to 5.5V Operating Range
 Full Duplex
 Low-power
 Fast Programming
 Flexible
Bluetooth module HC-05
HC-05 Bluetooth module is a SPP(Serial port
protocol),designed for transfer wireless Serial Conn-
ection setup. It makes an easy way to interface with
controller or PC
Bluetooth frequency is 2.4GHz.
It is provide connectivity up to 10-15 meters.
Power supply
Stepdown
transformer
Bridge
Rectifier
Capacitive
Filter Load
Voltage
Regulator
Step down transformer converts 230V to 12V.
Bridge rectifier converts 12V A.C to pulsating D.C.
Capacitive filter removes the ripples from the
output of rectifier and gives smoothens the D.C.
7805 voltage regulator converts 12V D.C to 5V
D.C.
Relay
A relay is an electrically controllable switch.
 The relay consist of 2 different voltage
sources. 1)small amount of voltage/current on
one side can handle a large amount of
voltage/current.
2)the two voltages are mixed up.
Advantages
Can control device without going near the device
Simple operation.
No need to carry separate remote or any other
controlling unit.
Applications
Home automation
Remote device control
Irrigation system
Result
Bulb-1 ON Bulb-2 ON Bulbs-1&2 ON
Bulbs 1 &2 OFF
Conclusion
By using this project we can control and
command the operation any device from any
where near to the devices about 10-15 meters
Without wires.
Future scope
User can control the devices by sending a
simple voice or key command.
Here only single user only control the target
devices. We can implemented and extended to
multi users.
