Records UK and Virgin Records.

Polydor Records, Island Records, Decca Records, and a newly established
Capitol Records UK.
• The new label will replace Mercury and Virgin as the releasing label in the UK, for
Def Jam and Island US's international roster as well as Virgin Records America
artists.

4. ARTISTS
• Virgin EMI's artists include Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Emeli Sande, Elton John, Paul
McCartney, Bon Jovi, The Vamps, Tom Jones, George Michael and Kanye West. Former Girls Aloud
singer Nadine Coyle was the latest to be announced to have joined the label in 2017.

Pros
• Hard work and lots of fun.
• Great perks - free CDs and gig tickets.
• Real family atmosphere.
• All the people that worked there
• Good work-life balance, professional but relaxed atmosphere, where you are treated like an adult and trusted to get the work done
Cons
• Company was going through a lot of changes so there were tough aspects, though everyone pulled together.
• Not enough resources to get job done. Long hours. Management can sometimes overlook lower level managers input and hard work.
• Easy to get lost in the ‘shuffle’.
