FADE IN:
SCENE 1: EXT. LOCATION #1- THE LAKE- MORNING
A quiet, isolated but captivating lake. The water is
slightly off coloured, the ground is dirty and the sky is
slightly grey as the birds chirp terrifyingly. The lake is
eerie, where GEORGE is lying unconscious on the ground,
cuts and bruising over his face. His eyes move suddenly,
followed by a blank screen.
SCENE 2: INT. LOCATION #2- GEORGE’S HOME- MORNING
An early morning in GEORGE’S home, a modern and spacious
setting, where GEORGE’S WIFE is watching a news report that
is being shown on the television in the lounge, whilst
sitting drinking a cup of coffee on the leather sofa. The
camera moves into the scene of the crime that is being
shown on the news.
TV NEWS REPORTER
Hello, what events occurred this morning?
CUT TO:
SCENE 3: EXT. LOCATION #1- THE LAKE- MORNING
An early morning by the quiet, isolated lake. Forensics are
seen dressed in white suits with police tape surrounding
the scene of the crime. A POLICE OFFICER is answering
questions to a news team, reporting on the crime. GEORGE is
still lying unconscious on the ground, cuts and bruising
over his face.

POLICE OFFICER
A serious incident has happened here this
morning concerning an adult male, who
cannot be named right now.
TV NEWS REPORTER
Is there any more information you could
give us?
POLICE OFFICER
At this current time, there is no further
information.
TV NEWS REPORTER
Ok, thank you very much for your time.
POLICE OFFICER turns and continues investigating the crime
scene.
SCENE 4: INT. LOCATION #2- GEORGE’S HOME- MORNING
GEORGE’S WIFE places her coffee on the side.
TRANSITION TO: GEORGE making a coffee early in the morning.
GEORGE gets ready for his day at the lake, fishing. He
makes himself breakfast, puts his fisherman outfit on, gets
together his equipment, before entering his car to drive
towards the lake.

SCENE 5: INT. LOCATION #3- GEORGE’S CAR- MORNING
GEORGE drives towards the lake whilst in the dark interior
of his car, the equipment placed in the back, he has a firm
look on his face.
SCENE 6: EXT. LOCATION #1- THE LAKE- MORNING
The lake has a cold and isolated feel as GEORGE arrives,
carrying his equipment. He places it down on the floor,
setting it up beside the lake. He sits down on his chair,
before putting some bait on his rod, and casting his line
into the water. He sits for some period of time, waiting
for some action.
GEORGE (EXCITABLE)
It’s going to be a good day today!
GEORGE laughs to himself, as he feels a slight tug on his
rod.
GEORGE (EXCITABLE)
Here we go!
GEORGE’s face turns as the tug on his rod gets more
aggressive, pulling him closer to the lake. Suddenly, the
rod is thrown into the lake as GEORGE lets go, before an
attack, hauling GEORGE into the water as he screams.
GEORGE (IN TERROR)
AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

GEORGE splashes around in the water, wriggling and
screaming, trying to grab air.
GEORGE (IN TERROR)
AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
GEORGE’s head goes under water, silence fills the lake,
followed by a blank screen.
FADE IN:
GEORGE is lying unconscious on the ground, cuts and
bruising over his face. His eyes move suddenly, followed by
a blank screen.
SCENE 7: INT. LOCATION #2- GEORGE’S HOME- MORNING
An early morning in GEORGE’S home, a modern and spacious
setting, where GEORGE’S WIFE and now GEORGE, are watching a
news report that is being shown on the television in the
lounge, whilst sitting drinking a cup of coffee on the
leather sofa. The camera is still and doesn’t move into the
scene of the crime.
TV NEWS REPORTER
Hello, what events occurred this morning?
POLICE OFFICER
A serious incident has happened here this
morning concerning an adult male, who
cannot be named right now.

POLICE OFFICER turns and continues investigating the crime
scene.
SCENE 9: INT. LOCATION #2- GEORGE’S HOME- MORNING
GEORGE’S WIFE turns her head to look at GEORGE.
GEORGE’S WIFE (CONCERNED)
Isn’t that where you were going today?
GEORGE turns his head uncomfortably and moves his hand to
his neck, where his visible cut and bruising is. His face
turns to a sudden shock as his eyes widen, when he realises
that the man that has been injured at the lake, may be him.
He turns to his wife, looking worried, before looking
towards the camera.
