For a Buddhist pilgrim the most sacred spaces are the places that were touched by the presence of the Buddha. The Sakyamuni himself mentioned four places that were personally important to him - Lumbini, Bodh Gaya, Sarnath and Kushinagar. Of these Lumbini and his home town of Kapilavastu are in Nepal.
On first impression, Niranjan Singh Mehta seemed to have everything well set up for a highly visible career as a Civil Servant. Born in the rich family of Doctor Ralla Singh, surrounded comfortably by a retinue of servants, Niranjan was taught Maths and Urdu by Mian Mohammed Deen and later completed his primary education from Municipal School Fazilka. Later he studied in Arya School Lahore, completed his matric in Mission High School Gujranwala and attended Lahore College.
He scored a gold medal in M.A. in 1900 and then cleared LLB in 1901 and started his law practice but could not work for more than 7 days, since he could not accept himself resorting to fabricated lies to win cases. In the in the interim, he got an offer of Headmastership of an Anglo Sanskrit School. He labored for one year in the school. At that
point he tested the civil services exam in the Salt division. In 1902, he was appointed as the Assistant Superintendent at Sanbhar Lake.
He was clear only about one thing that he would serve the commoners for the rest of his life. As a Salt officer three thoughts bothered him too much: “that the salt which for miles has come out of the ground, only needy ones make it for their use. My duty was to catch them and imprison them. It came into my mind that the nature had given a free gift to the poor and being instrumental for their arrest just for earning wages became a repulsive idea.” “One day I thought that it was better to educate the poor than to brag about my status as a Salt officer.”
He decided to quit the job because it was not his way to lord over poor and helpless people.
Based on his academic achievements, He became vice-principal of Khalsa College in 1904 and later its Principal, at the unprecedented young age of 27 years and the first Sikh to do so, since this benchmark was only met by British Teachers prior to this.

Money has its own importance in our life. The world considers money and wealth as one of the most important thing in life. People have more love for money because it is needed in everything they do. That is why there is fight all around the world to get more money, by ethical or unethical means. People have been bothered by the uneven distribution of money and wealth. In this dangerous era of Kaliyug, it is very difficult to remain ethical and honest in matters of money.
In the presented book on the world of money as seen by Param Pujya Dadashri the Gnani Purush (the enlightened one), Dadashri has shared his view on money, charity, use of money. According to him, money is the reward of one’s merit karmas from one’s past life. Wealth comes your way when you give help to others, not otherwise. Wealth comes to those who have the desire to share. Lack of understanding of the science of money has perpetuated greed for money which leads to worldly life after life (avatars).

As much as we would prefer otherwise, conflict seems woven into the very fabric of life. On a daily basis, we find ourselves dealing with difficult people, facing unhealthy relationships, or suffering marriage problems. We might say that some of our relationships are the very definition of conflict! While asking ourselves how to adjust in these circumstances, and how to handle conflict, we remain confused and perplexed.
In the book “Life Without Conflict”, Gnani Purush (embodiment of Self knowledge) Dada Bhagwan offers ultimate conflict resolution skills in the form of spiritual conflict resolution strategies. His spiritual teaching on how to resolve conflict - or to avoid it altogether - is offered in the context of common and everyday relationship challenges.
Whether seeking relationship tips, marriage advice, or simply to learn how to stay healthy and to cultivate happy homes, this book will prove an invaluable resource.
The religions of the world preserve the knowledge and protect the secrets of ancient powerful mantras.
At the heart of world religion, and among the most powerful mantras in the history of religion, is the Navkar mantra, or Trimantra.
In the book “Trimantra”, Gnani Purush (embodiment of Self knowledge) Dada Bhagwan explains the Trimantra, its mantra meaning, and the extraordinary benefits of its recitation.
Whether wishing to live with no worry while facing problems in everyday life, wondering how to get inner peace, or on a spiritual quest seeking spiritual enlightenment (Self Realization), utilizing Trimantra provides that – and more.
Among the many spiritual books available today, Param Pujya Dadashri’s spiritual guidance about the value of Trimantra, and how to best access its spiritual power, is invaluable.

Brahmacharya: Celibacy With UnderstandingDada Bhagwan
In the book “Brahmacharya: Celibacy With Right Understanding”, Gnani Purush (embodiment of Self knowledge) Dada Bhagwan offers unique insight into the definition of celibacy and the benefits of brahmacharya.
He clarifies common misunderstandings about celibacy, answering questions such as: “How do you define celibacy?”, “What are the spiritual reasons for abstinence from sex, and what are the benefits of abstinence?”, “Does spiritual power increase from brahmacharya, and how is celibacy related to spirituality and practice?”, “Must one take a vow of celibacy to practice brahmacharya?”
This book offers a clear road map to celibacy meaning and celibacy benefits, and is an invaluable resource for those wanting to learn how to become more spiritual through the practice of brahmacharya.
“Aptavani 6” is the sixth in a series of spiritual books titled “Aptavani”. In this series, Gnani Purush (embodiment of Self knowledge) Dada Bhagwan addresses age-old unanswered questions of spiritual seekers.
Dadashri offers in-depth answers to the urgent questions of: “What is the cause of life problems?”, “I experience so much internal struggle while facing problems – teach me how to get inner peace?”, “What is peace of mind, and how can I attain it?”, “I have so many problems in everyday life, my life feels like the very definition of injustice – help me understand how to live?!”
Dadashri explains that, from understanding “Who am I?” and attaining knowledge of Self, a foundation of spirituality opens up within. From this spiritual awakening, a newfound ability to face life problems arises. One begins to experience inner equanimity and peace of mind – regardless of any problems in everyday life.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

VILLAGE
TECHNOLOGIES
24. In this conversation with some of his disciples Çréla
Prabhupäda says, "Modern, artificial 'necessities of life'
may seem to increase your so-called comfort. But if you
forget life's real aim, your so-called advancement of
technology is suicidal." (June 1976, the Hare Kåñëa

Spiritual Solutions for Material Problems
Back toSimple Life and Simple Truth
25. Disciple: Çréla Prabhupäda, once you said, "The
tractor—this is the cause of all the trouble. It took all
the young men's farm work. It forced them to go into
the city and become entangled in sensuality." You
said people had to leave the country and the simple
life of goodness and God consciousness. And so
they went to the city and got caught up in the
anxious life, the mode of passion.
26. Çréla Prabhupäda: Yes. In the city people must
naturally fall into the mode of passion: constant
anxiety due to needless lusting and striving. In
the city we are surrounded by all sorts of
artificial things for agitating our mind and
senses. And naturally, when we have this facility
we become lusty. We take to this passionate
mode and become filled with anxiety.
27. Disciple: The country is more peaceful. It's easier to think
of spiritual life.
Çréla Prabhupäda: Yes. There is less disease.
Everything is less brain-taxing. In the country the pangs
of this material world are less. So you can arrange your
life for real profit. Spiritual profit. Realize God; become
Kåñëa conscious. And if you have got a temple in your
home or near your home, you have a very happy life. You
work just a little—just for your food—in the spring a
month and a half or so for planting, in the fall a month
and a half for harvesting. And in your remaining time you
become culturally enriched. You engage all your talents
and energies for realizing God. Kåñëa consciousness.
This is ideal life.
28. You see the minute fibers on this flower? No other
manufacturing process in this world can do this—
such small fibers. And how brilliant is the color! If you
study only one flower, you will become God
conscious.
There is a mechanism that we call "nature." And from
it is coming everything we see around us. Now, how
is it that this mechanism is so perfect? And who is it
that has devised this mechanism?
29. Anyway, learn to love this natural mode of life, life in a wide-open space.
Produce your own grain. Produce your own milk. Save time. Chant Hare
Kåñëa. Glorify the Lord's holy names. At life's end, go back to the spiritual

Modern, artificial "necessities of life" may seem to increase your so-called

30. Disciple: Once in London you said, "People do not
know that flowers are painted. Kåñëa paints them
with thoughts."
Çréla Prabhupäda: Yes. Most people think that by
itself, unconnected with a painter, this flower has
become beautiful. This is foolishness. "Nature has
done it." Whose nature? Everything is being done
by the natural mechanism of Kåñëa. Paräsya

purport] the Lord is orchestrating everything by His
innumerable, inconceivable energies.
