Various Highways and Bridge design projects – Atkins, UK
M1 Deansbrook Viaduct (July 11 – December 11)
 Generated several as-built and existing structural drawings of the fire-damaged M1 viaduct bridge. This included the
general arrangement, construction sequence drawings and the details of the fire damages to the beams, soffits,
bearings etc.

A3 Hindhead Tunnel (Aug 10)
 Created new drawings of the layouts for tunnel diversion route showing plans and sections of the signs in the
maintenance access areas of the tunnel
M25 DBFO (Jul 10 – Aug 10)
 Created new drawings of the oversized storage pipe system
 Created new flood plain drawings by referencing the flood plain maps provided by the Environmental Agency to the
M25 survey drawings
 Modified existing structures drawings of plans and profiles of bridges
A21 Tonbridge to Pembury (May 10 – Jun 10)
 CAD work on A21 Proof of Evidences
 Modified utilities drawings on Statutory Undertakers EDF Diversions and creating new x-ref drawings
A21 Kippings Cross to Lamberhurst (Nov 09 – Apr 10)
 Produced construction phase drawings of four different phases of construction of the A21
 Produced departures drawings of sign locations and statutory undertakers EDF drawings of existing public services
 Produced proposed fenceline and footpath external reference for proposed scheme plan drawings, including general
annotation of earthworks chainages
 Modified drawings to drainage layout, site compounds of temporary storage areas, environmental constraints plan,
proposed scheme layout, layout and cross section of environmental constraints
 Produced and modified several structures (elevation and profile) drawings including bridges, footbridges and retaining
wall

2.  Produced sustainability index drawings for the Kippings Cross to Lamberhurst scheme using the structures options
report. The same drawings was also produced for the A21 Tonbridge to Pembury scheme
Walton Bridge (Oct 09)
 Modified proposed environment scheme layouts of the Engineering Evidence 2009 drawings. Changes made to x-ref
drawings such as car park, boundaries, cycleways and footpaths etc
 Produced new layers for the survey contours external reference drawing for the flood plain around Walton Bridge
 Produced new flood compensation area drawings
A14 Ellington to Fen Ditton (Assistant Document Controller using iCosNet) (Jun 09 – Sep 09)
 Uploading and updating the mainline and cross-section drawing registers and reports into the iCosNet database
 Changing the registers with the latest revisions and sending off by email
 Distributing issue activity reports of updated registers and various deliverables
 Preparing new issue request forms for uploaded documents
 Updating and uploading SCO forms and providing a link to the daily record sheets
