Virtual reality technology has been integrated with solutions created by Mobile Systems Research Labs to allow more intuitive control of unmanned aerial vehicle camera gimbals and C4I software modules. When wearing a VR helmet, the gimbal moves exactly like the operator's head, and VR gloves allow deciding what to track or zoom in and out, improving work effectiveness. A VR sphere workspace also allows freely moving through and interacting with selected C4I modules or elements using head and hand motions, expanding the workspace and raising situation awareness.
