C4I is a modular client application for data analysis consisting of exchangeable modules that can be integrated and customized. It has an intuitive GUI and supports multiple displays and workspaces. Modules can cooperate and share data with each other, even if created by different institutions. The system has extensive configuration options and saves the state of modules between sessions. It also allows sharing of windows and remote collaboration between users. A time provider module supports tracing of historical events by controlling the flow of time.

Modern C4I client application
1. C4I
C4I is a modern and innovative client
application for operators and data analyzers
from various disciplines. It is based on
exchangeable modules which can be easily
integrated with one another. This approach
allows for universal and vast appliances.
Another advantage of this environment is
open protocol which supports easy
programming of new functionalities. All new
functionalities are added as separate
modules.
The entire application has a modern and
intuitive GUI based on vector graphics. C4I
supports multiple displays on which users
can create their own customable workspace,
most suited for their needs.
Modules in C4I are not isolated programs that
communicate with the systems core. Modules get much more effective and functional
when they cooperate with each other. Thanks to this approach data analysis and data
processing done in one module can be used by another. Even if it was created by some
other institution and its functionality was not determined while the source module was
created. Of course user authorization determines what functionalities and data the user
can access. The process of authorization is done by a logon procedure or advanced
system of cryptographic cards.
C4I software has a vast number of elements that are configurable and its flexibility fulfils
all the needs of even the most demanding users. Configuration of the system does not
stop here. State of all modules and windows is saved in user profile when system
shutdowns. It allows to go on with work from exactly same spot.
2. Another important functionality is the ability to share any given window with its content
and analysis to any other user logged on to the system. Furthermore users can use C4I
to work remotely on different machines and share the view of the display with other
users.
The last but not least is the time provider module. It supports the system with current
time. Thanks to this it is possible to trace and replay historical events. Of course it is
possible to hold, slow down or speed up time flow.
