This document provides an agenda for a webinar on using PEM to understand and improve performance in Postgres. The webinar will cover an introduction to PEM, performance monitoring, database tuning using the tuning wizard and performance diagnostics, EDB wait states, and include a demo. PEM allows monitoring of hosts, databases, schemas and workloads to identify performance bottlenecks. The tuning wizard recommends configuration optimizations. Performance diagnostics provide insight into wait events slowing queries using EDB wait states.
