The Preterite Tense in Spanish is used to describe completed past actions that occurred at a specific time, such as "yesterday" or "last night." It can be used for one-time events or for describing a series of isolated, specific actions that occurred one after another, with a focus on the beginning or end of the action. Examples include "I did my homework yesterday" and "We went to the market, bought coffee, and also spoke with some friends."
