Organic Fertilizer for Sustainable Agriculture
How to attain good crop growth is one of the major considerations in organic farming. Farmers usually depend on available commercial preparations, which are costly. Besides, the availability of supply and the manner by which these are prepared are uncertain.
To address this problem, farmers can produce their own liquid farm inputs. Raw materials needed can easily be found. The procedure is simple and easy to follow, and the production cost is very minimal.
Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) in the Philippines
In the area of food safety, "farm-to-table" refers to the stages of food production from the way it is grown or raised, to how it is harvested, manufactured, packed, delivered and consumed. Everyone has a responsibility to minimize foodborne illnesses, even long before food reaches the table. At each stage of the food chain, from the farmers/producers to the consumers, we aim for a high level of food safety.
According to the Department of Agriculture, Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) is a set of consolidated safety and quality standards for on-farm fruit and vegetable production. On this webinar, GAP will be discussed, as well as the requirements in the certification for fruit and vegetable farms. The resource speaker will also present the GAP standards and checklist.
Fish Amino Acid Production Guide is published by the Department of Agriculture (Agricultural Training Institute).
Provides step by step procedure, uses, and application rates.

The following is some great basics about organic gardening that a former professor of mine presented. The slideshow of the Power Point is embedded below. Tell me what you think!
THE RISE OF ROOFTOP GARDENS IN INFORMALLY DEVELOPED AREAS IN EGYPT: EXPLORING...Iman Gawad
Informally Developed Areas provide shelter to millions of poor residents in Egypt. They struggle to overcome social, economic, and environmental problems currently faced by a country in a state of change. With high rates of urbanization, many millions more will soon resident this type of areas in the coming years. After decades of attempts by the government and many national development agencies to regulate Cairo's informal urban growth, the problems remain as massive and ill-managed as ever. Recently, a number of Egyptian NGOs started to lift people above the poverty line through an income generated by the sale of rooftop gardening products. They focus on setting up trainings in agricultural techniques and developing hydroponic agriculture, which grows in mineral rich water, without soil. They are aiming at making a peaceful, yet determined stance against Cairo’s polluted microclimate and the problems of poverty and food shortages in informal regions.
This paper performs an investigation on how such settlements could be improved and hence the quality of life of the majority of its residents through the development of the rooftop farming strategy. It also reviews environmental and socio-economic characteristics attributed to the proliferation of informal areas using the hydroponic farming system and its architectural design potentials and challenges in the local microclimate. The research aims at exploring the potentials of vegetative green rooftops and conclude the best national strategies for sustaining them. Some successful NGOs, public institutions and private civil initiatives working in Cairo district rooftop urban gardens are presented as well as the obstacles they encountered.
Aquaponic applications for the small farm are becoming all the rage, but how can it truly produce profitably? You need a complete system that supplies it's own feed that is mercury free, soy free, GMO free.
World population is growing continuously with more people living on the Earth than ever before. In 2007, humanity’s total ecological footprint was estimated at 1.5 planet Earths. Resources are becoming increasingly valuable as the Earth is the only source till date and others planets are still to become a viable source of these resources.
Projections estimate that we will need the equivalent of two planets by 2030 to meet our annual demands. The only way, we can reduce our footprint is by producing more with less, and consuming better, wiser and less - the way forward is better and 'frugal' choices!
In this report, we present the trends that encourage better choices; trends in Frugal Innovations, 'Jugaad' and Do-It-Yourself are explored to see how and where we can make our better choices for the future.
We conclude our report with 3 thought provoking future scenarios.
Urban Roots (an exploration about urban agricolture)Nicola Mattina
Growing vegetables in the cities is a good idea. Under the right circumstances, it is possible to reduce wastes and to eliminate pesticides and herbicides. At the same time, urban farms bring people together and nurture social cohesion.

"Food in the City", was a presentation I gave as part of the series Food and Emerging Media Speaker Series, organized by Stefani Bardin, where she invited artists, farmers, architects, curators and historians whose work and research focus on how technology has mediated our relationship to food.
Food in the City presented a range of inspirations: artists who have been working on projects as diverse as urban farming, food mapping, and eating in an art context. Food in the City is an initiative which will bring together media artists, cooks, environmentalists and food activists to embrace technological innovation and environmental, sustainable and regenerative concerns consistent with green and open source ventures and sustainability. A rooftop gardening ebook is a digital resource that provides information, tips, and guidance on how to start and maintain a successful rooftop garden. This type of gardening is becoming increasingly popular in urban areas where space is limited, but people still want to enjoy the benefits of growing their own food or creating a beautiful outdoor space.
The ebook may cover topics such as selecting the right plants for your rooftop garden, designing your garden space, choosing the right containers and soil, watering and fertilizing your plants, dealing with pests and diseases, and harvesting your crops.
The ebook may also include beautiful photos and illustrations to inspire and guide you in your rooftop gardening journey. With the help of a rooftop gardening ebook, anyone can start their own thriving rooftop garden and enjoy the benefits of fresh produce and a beautiful outdoor space.

https://bit.ly/BabeSideDoll4u Babeside is a company that specializes in creating handcrafted reborn dolls. These dolls are designed to be incredibly lifelike, with realistic skin tones and hair, and they have become increasingly popular among collectors and those who use them for therapeutic purposes. At Babeside, we believe that our reborn dolls can provide comfort and healing to anyone who needs it.
The Healing Power of Babeside's Handcrafted Creations
Our reborn dolls are more than just beautiful pieces of art - they can also help alleviate stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions. Studies have shown that holding or cuddling a soft object like a stuffed animal or a reborn doll can release oxytocin, which is often referred to as the "love hormone." This hormone helps us feel calm and relaxed, reducing feelings of stress and anxiety.
In addition to their physical benefits, reborn dolls can also offer emotional support. For many people, having something to care for and nurture can bring a sense of purpose and fulfillment. Reborn dolls can also serve as a reminder of happy memories or loved ones who have passed away.
Welcome to the Program Your Destiny course. In this course, we will be learning the technology of personal transformation, neuroassociative conditioning (NAC) as pioneered by Tony Robbins. NAC is used to deprogram negative neuroassociations that are causing approach avoidance and instead reprogram yourself with positive neuroassociations that lead to being approach automatic. In doing so, you change your destiny, moving towards unlocking the hypersocial self within, the true self free from fear and operating from a place of personal power and love.

5. Who we are and how it works
The idea for the UL Community Roof Garden
was initiated by the Environmental
Committee and was designed and
constructed by Buildings & Estates during
the remediation work on the space which
had began to leak into the lecture theatre
below.
A group of enthusiastic volunteers from
across the campus community came
together during the Autumn 2012 semester
to discuss how best to utilise the space.
6. Principles and aspirations
The roof garden is for everyone and will be open to
all.
It will be a space where people can come to learn
and teach about gardening as well as a place for
relaxation.
You can participate in all or only a selection of
activities.
There will be a variety of plants including
vegetables, flowers, fruits and herbs.
It will have colour and foliage throughout the
seasons.
7. Principles and aspirations(2)
It will be a model for urban farming and develop
outreach activities.
It will operate under the guidance of an expert
gardener who will set the work schedule each
week.
Other leadership roles will be identified as the need
emerges.
All tasks and organised sessions will be posted on
the blog.
It is experimental, we are learning as we go.
If you want to get involved, just show up for the next
gardening session.
