Preston Theye was General Manager at this location and the person who hired me. On Monday, August 17,
2015, Preston informed me that he would no longer be running this location and Joe Delauder (with the
company a long time) was taking over. As we were not aware of any coming changes in management, I was
surprised. On Thursday, August 20, 2015, I had been at my desk less than an hour when Kara Bottomley,
Office Manager, asked to see me. She informed me that due to corporate restructuring my position was being
eliminated, and therefore I was being let go. Having worked at Rapid Rooter for only six months, I asked if
being let go was based on my work performance in any way. Both Kara and Joe Delauder assured me that it
was not. It was strictly due to restructuring – I was one on the last office personnel hired, so one of the first to
