Daniel Parushev's film project titled "Forgiveness" explores how people's lives can change in an instant through the story of two characters from different socioeconomic backgrounds. The film is targeted towards 15-20 year olds to convey the message that everyone deserves a second chance. Primary research found that people in this age group spend significant time on their phones for activities like Netflix and music. Location shooting was done at Sunderland College and in the city center. Teaser posters and an online presence were created to promote the film. Testing of early materials received positive feedback.

This research paper investigates the transformative power of these elements in influencing how individuals perceive brands and products and how this transformation can be harnessed to drive sales and profitability for businesses.
Through an exploration of brand psychology and consumer behavior, this study sheds light on the intricate ways in which effective branding strategies, strategic social media engagement, and user-centric website design contribute to altering consumers' perceptions. We delve into the principles that underlie successful brand transformations, examining how visual identity, messaging, and storytelling can captivate and resonate with target audiences.
Methodologically, this research employs a comprehensive approach, combining qualitative and quantitative analyses. Real-world case studies illustrate the impact of branding, social media campaigns, and website redesigns on consumer perception, sales figures, and profitability. We assess the various metrics, including brand awareness, customer engagement, conversion rates, and revenue growth, to measure the effectiveness of these strategies.
The results underscore the pivotal role of cohesive branding, social media influence, and website usability in shaping positive brand perceptions, influencing consumer decisions, and ultimately bolstering sales and profitability. Book Formatting: Quality Control Checks for DesignersConfidence Ago
This presentation was made to help designers who work in publishing houses or format books for printing ensure quality.
Quality control is vital to every industry. This is why every department in a company need create a method they use in ensuring quality. This, perhaps, will not only improve the quality of products and bring errors to the barest minimum, but take it to a near perfect finish.
It is beyond a moot point that a good book will somewhat be judged by its cover, but the content of the book remains king. No matter how beautiful the cover, if the quality of writing or presentation is off, that will be a reason for readers not to come back to the book or recommend it.
So, this presentation points designers to some important things that may be missed by an editor that they could eventually discover and call the attention of the editor.
2. My synopsis
• My idea for my film is to show that everything can change with a
matter of time however we do have 2 characters which show both
poor and rich side of the characters and how they will collide will
make sense why they will fall out eventually
3. Name of the Film
• Forgiveness the reason I chose this title because I agree that every
one disserves a second chance. The title is connected with the
storyline during the full progression of the film.
4. Target Audience
• My target audience are 15-20 the reason is 15+ is because I want to
show to younger generation what a second chance is and how to use
it and what it can cost you. I think 15-20 is appropriate because they
are still young and I want to ingrate that idea in their heads pass the
message and because they are younger they would take it better in a
way.
5. Genre
• I have chosen Realism because I want to project reality create a
virtual window from where people see what others do or what
money cant buy you which is trust.
6. BBFC
• I think my film will receive a 15 or a 12A because it doesn’t have any of the
• Dangerous behaviour
• Discrimination
• Drugs
• Language
• Nudity
• Sex
• Threat and horror
• Violence
• The only reason I think ill get the 15 is because of the Discrimination been there perhaps
discriminating the poor from the rich.
7. Release date.
• My film will be out by Easter Holidays this gives me enough time to
finish editing it and make the trailer. 4th of April
8. Primary research
• 21 people are in the age between 16-20 learned this by taking my short survey.
•
• 3 OUT 5 WARE FEELING ODD AFTER BEING ON THEIR PHONE
• That shows that people spend a lot of time on their phone
• 4-6 PEOPLE HAVE Spend MORE THAN 8H ON THEIR PHONES this shows that people spend a lot of time on their phone.
• ALL PEOPLE ASKED ATTEND COLLEGE
• I learned that because of the feedback I got
• 10-21 USE THEIR PHONE FOR NETFLIX this shows that many people watch tv series on their phone
•
• 17-21 USE THEIR PHONE FOR SPOTIFY-YOUTUBE this shows how much people watch and listen to Spotify.
• By gathering these results I can find out what marketing strategies I want to use.
9. Secondary research
• I think that there is a lot of great films out there following the same strategy but I also think that there is
difference between what I want to achieve and what they have achieved lots of the time films like that are
based in crime, where my film is based on whole world flipping around for both of my characters.
• I have created 3 posters and one trailer
• For example a film called Shifty who's director Eran Creevy
I have looked into the box office 244,579GBP
And the budget 100,000 GBP
Background
London is home to a young crack cocaine dealer named Shifty. His family are about to disown him because of
his lifestyle, and he is being stalked by a customer who wants to score at all costs. Can he prevent what is all set
to be a violent and dangerous future?
10. Ideas and planning
• I have decided to use my own camera for the film and I have dicided to use natural
lighting however there is lighting used in the inside scenes.
• However the lighting used in the inside scenes aren’t anything special.
• Locations Sunderland College and City Centre Sunderland date and time ware needed
and we had to make sure everyone is available at the certain date and time to keep the
movie shooting consistent this was discussed previously in the preproduction schedule
and meetings ect.
• The message my campaign is trying to bring is that the world isn’t fair. Yes its that simple
the world isn’t fair.
• I have made teaser posters for my film which allow the viewers to create a base of what
is happening in the film each poster will try to create different mood.
• Each poster will be posted in different time gaps.
11. Prepare material
This one of my clips behind the
scenes clips in this you can see
how I'm controlling the set.
Showing how me and the team
work together.
13. This is my Teaser poster for my film this poster doesn’t give too much
information out to the viewer it lets them decide what could happen.
I have used a pack called cage so I make that look between the
characters the effect has been used more on the left side more so it
shows the difference between the characters.
14. Poster Feedback
• I have asked group of friends of what they think about my poster and
they have give me a positive feedback on how to fix it for the future I
have received fair use of how to improve it for the future people said
that they like how the characters look glitched in a way.
15. PRE-TESTING
• I have done the interview trough a online podcast
•
• THIS WILL BE UPLOADED AS A SEPARATE POST LATERER :)
16. Styles of writing
The title for my film is Forgiveness and the genre is realism the reason I
chose realism its because I felt that I'm capable of making the film just like I
wanted and passing the message just the way I feel its appropriate my target
audience are 15-20 this is appropriate because I want people seeing my film
to notice how life could change for people in a matter of seconds.
I have made 3 posters and a trailer following with the online Instagram page.
The final video has been rendered to a appropriate quality and I have made
sure that its accessible.
17. INSTAGRAM PAGE
I have posted 3 of my posters and
trailer will be posted on the
YouTube channel which will create
the build up.
18. Trailer
• For my trailer I needed to select the clips and insert them to the
computer from there I needed to select the files and create a
sequence which resolves into a video that can be edited on a timeline
from there I have chosen how to construct it and placed the audio
from there I have export the video so it can be watched from all
platforms.
19. Production Log
• 13/01/2020 I have started my PowerPoint
• 22/01/2020 I have finished my introduction task and have made a
survey.
• 23/01/2020 is when I gave my survey out

editing
