Magazine are images of the college.
The final design will be used on the front cover
of the Magazine City Life.

16. This is my favorite logo design and I like this one
the best because I like the background of the
building and the effect of the text.

18. Copyright is where you are the only legal person
who can use the product/image or file, the only way
you could use something copyrighted is if the
designer let you use for free or if you bought it off
them. If you use their product without authorization
you could be fined and possibly sent to prison.
My front cover meets the copyright laws because I
have designed the logos I have used and edited the
five over images on the front cover.

20. I will be saving a version of my magazine as a jpeg.
Some advantages of jpegs are you can edit and
reduce the size of the file format.
A disadvantage of using a jpeg file is when you
decrease the file size you can get a loss of data
but you will not recognise it until you try and edit
the file.
21. I will also save another version of the
magazine cover as a PDF file.
An advantage of PDF is you can reduce file
size but when printed quality will not be lost,
another advantage is that you can save it in
one document but re-open it in any other
software.
A disadvantage is that in a PDF document is
that once you have saved it as a PDF once
you’ve saved it you can not edit it again.
22. I will also save another version of the
magazine cover as a PSD file.
An advantages of a PSD file is when you have
saved a document and re-open it the layers
you have used can be re-edited.
A disadvantage is that the file cannot be
reduced in size and data can be lost when
sent in emails.
Another disadvantage is that PSD files cannot
be opened in many software programs.

client brief and describe why you think it meets
your client’s needs.

Yes it is in the correct file format.
Is it high enough quality?
Yes it is good quality.

Yes because they promote the facilities of the
college and what it looks like.
