front cover I used my
designed logo and I
used my modified
picture with a tool
called patched.

original work and it’s right for a limited

My images meet the regulations because
I designed the images by myself on
illustrator.

Which file format will you used and why?
I will save my version of my magazine as jpeg.
Jepg stands for joint photographic expert group.
3 advantages jpeg are a compressed image format
a jpeg supports a 24 bit colour,
a jpeg has a compressed level that you can adjust using a scale of 100
different values.
3 disadvantages
Jpeg are 8 bit
JPEG images also contain less dynamic range than RAW images.
Jpeg could easily be deleted.

PDF stands for portable document format
3 advantages of PDF
PDF are good for forms and manuals.
PDF are ideal with fonts
PDF delivers high revolution images.
3 disadvantages of PDF
Larger files can be slower
The user will need adobe reader
PDF documents are usually formatted.

PSD stands for Photoshop document.
3 advantages of PSD
PSD files tend to be large
Ideal for use when processing images
PSD uses adobe reader
3 disadvantages of PSD
Web browsers cannot read PSD
It uses to much space.
It can be deleted or lost.

needs
Check that your final images meet the
original client brief and describe why you
think it meets your client’s needs.
Is this image in the correct file format? Yes I
used adobe illustrator.
Is it high enough quality? Yes my images are
in good quality.
Do the images promote City Life? Yes my
images do promote City Life magazine.
