This paper discusses a unified power quality conditioner (UPQC) integrated with a fuel cell system using a SEPIC converter to ensure stable DC link voltage and improve power quality by addressing voltage sags and harmonics. The system's operation is validated through MATLAB/Simulink simulations, confirming its effectiveness in enhancing power distribution network performance. Key features include the UPQC's reliance on both series and shunt active power filters to manage current and voltage-related disturbances.
