1. Product selection
When it comes to specifying flood
mitigation measures, we only ever
recommend products that hold
a Kitemark or equivalent. This
guarantees products have been
tested to rigorous BSI standards.
Whilst there are a wide variety
of products on the market, our
preferred choice is the Flood Angel
range. Its door, sewage and brick
defence products hold appropriate
Kitemarks and when utilised as a
‘package’, they provide holistic
protection across an entire property.
Product installation
Naturally, when it comes to something
as important as flood defence, it’s
crucial product installers are suitably
experienced and qualified.
All UK Flood Barriers’ installers have
undergone extensive training under
the ‘Flood Professionals’ programme
and are certified to install products
and also to train
customers on
deployment and
maintenance.
Property survey
Our team of surveyors is qualified to assess a property’s flood risk. As well
as routes of water ingress, the survey will also consider drainage and water
systems and any specific planning or customer requirements.
The survey will also identify the flood mitigation products that will provide a
property with the most effective levels of protection.
