The pictures of UFOs in rock paintings, medieval and Renaissance paintings prove that
the “extraterrestrials” have been with us for a very long time.
The term UFO is used to refer to all these unidentified flying objects which, even after
research, remain a mystery. The researchers’ views are divided. Others consider them to
be of extra-dimensional origin, others of extra-planetary and others of intra-terrestrial,
meaning that they come from the hollow of the earth.
It seems clear, however, that these objects are not a new phenomenon and in reality, they
have been accompanying humanity since the beginning of its time. The prehistoric
peoples identified them with their “gods” and the modern ones with “extraterrestrials”.

UFOs IN CAVE PAINTINGS
Cave paintings that have been found in many parts of the earth, indicate the presence of
non-human beings on our planet.
The following depictions are engraved in caves in the mountains of Kimberley Australia,
near the Prince Regent River.
During a reconnaissance mission in 1838, George Gray found a strange set of petroglyphs,
with depictions of humanoids with large eyes and oval heads, figures which refer to our
familiar “greys”.
These caves which were hidden for millennia, were discovered when a mountain
collapsed. The walls of these old caves were filled with strange humanoid designs that
became known as the “Wandjinas“.

The outline of the spaceship below can be found drawn in one of Niaux’s caves in France.
This Paleolithic cave-carving is dated between 13,000 BC. and 10,000 BC.

Below: Petroglyph dated to 10,000 BC in a cave in the valley of Val Camonica (in eastern
Lombardy) in Italy that depicts two beings in protective suits holding a strange object.

North Africa. It is dated to around 6,000 BC. The shapes have elements that look more
like aliens than humans.
UFOs IN MURALS

Mural of 1350 AD at the Visoki Decani Monastery in Yugoslavia.
Above and below: 17th century mural depicting the crucifixion of Christ. It is located at
the Svetishoveli Cathedral in Mtskheta, Georgia. Observe the two disc-shaped objects on
both sides of Christ throwing flames at any direction.

The caption at the bottom reads: “Israel, put your hope in the Lord” 130: 7
The mural came to light when UFO researchers said they received a photo from Catalina
Borta, who photographed the mural when she visited the church of the Dominican
monastery Biserica Manastirii, in Sighisoara.

According to information, the church was originally built in the 14th century, but was
destroyed and rebuilt in the 17th century. Although the mural should belong to the period
of the Church’s reconstruction, the caption, written in German, refers to Psalm: 130: 7,
and it is probable that the painting may have survived the disaster, and is probably dated
to around 1523, when the Bible had been translated into German.

and with him is redemption in abundance”

UFOs IN ANCIENT MANUSCRIPTS AND TEXTS

Below: Strange ship, imprinted on a Japanese manuscript of 1844 called Utsuro-Bune (=
hollow ship).

The story tells us that on February 22 1803, fishermen discovered a strange boat floating
in the sea. Inside the boat there was a young woman, 18-20 years old.
The fishermen brought her inland to investigate the matter further, but the woman was
unable to communicate with them because she did not speak Japanese but another
language, unintelligible to the locals.
She was holding a strange box in her hands, which she did not allow anyone to touch.
Then the fishermen returned both the woman and the boat back to the sea and never
heard anything about their fate.
The manuscript today is on display at the Mukyū-Kai-Toshoka Museum in Machida,
Tokyo.

Below: Mahabharata is regarded by many historians as a sacred text of great importance
to Hindus. This valuable Hindu work is full of references to the Vimanas.
The enigmatic Vimanas, are mythological flying vehicles, and ancient texts describe their
use in war.
It is reported that the Vimanas travel both in space and under water. The descriptions
given in the Vedas speak of flying Vimanas in various shapes and sizes.

Below: These images of the two crusaders are dated to the 12th century and are found in a
manuscript called “Annales Laurissense”.

The text in the manuscript refers to a UFO sighting in the year 776 AD in France, during
the siege of Castle Sigiburg, by the Saxons.
Suddenly a group of discs (like flaming shields) appeared and began to fly over the top of
the temple.
The Saxons believed that the French were protected by these objects and thus fled.

This image by Samuel Coccius, has no official name. It was created in Switzerland in 1566,
and it shows that something strange is happening in the sky.
Below: The image comes from “Le Livre Des Bonnes Moeurs” (the book of good
manners), written in 1338. There is a large, round object in the sky that is clearly
artificial. But no one in the picture seems to be reacting to it.

UFOs IN PAINTINGS, TAPESTRIES AND

WOOD CARVINGS OF THE MIDDLE AGES AND RENAISSANCE
The UFO phenomenon seems to have strongly influenced both Middle Ages and
Renaissance art.
What is impressive is that when an artist paints a biblical scene, he often depicts a UFO
near the event!
Some works depict the extraterrestrial vehicle quite clearly, and some less so. You can
judge for yourself from the following pictures.
Below: “Madonna with Saint Giovannino” is a work by artist Domenico Ghirlandaio
(1449-1494).

It was built in the city of Bruges, Belgium in 1538. It is today housed in the National
Museum of Bavaria in Germany. (Bayerisches).
You can clearly see the two flying disc-shaped objects on the carpet, both on the left side
(where they are quite distinct) and also on the right side.
As you can see, the objects floating in the air are disk-shaped with the central part
elevated, similar to the shape of our familiar UFOs

The image shows an identification of the Christmas star with an unidentified flying
vehicle.
This may not be so absurd, if we take into account the Gospel passage that gives a
description of this supposed star, which probably refers to a moving vehicle.

“And there it was—the star they (the wizards) had seen at its rising. It led them until it
came and stopped above the place where the child was.”

… Stars, don’t “lead” nor do they stop when they arrive somewhere …
Below: A 16th-century woodcut depicts an incident that took place on July 25 and 28 and
on August 7 1556, in Basel, Switzerland, and was seen by many local witnesses.

The incident was described by Samuel Coccius in the local newspaper, Basel, Switzerland,
in 1556.
Spherical bodies appeared in the sky, where they were initially red like fire, but then
turned into black spheres that departed at high speed.

Below: Painting of 1486, known as “Evangelism with Saint Emidos”. Renaissance painting
work by painter Carlos Kriveli (1430/35-1494/95). It now belongs to the National Gallery
of London collection with catalog number 739.

There is a lot going on in this painting, but it is the light beam that really captures the eye.
The light appears to be coming from a round object in the sky. The beam penetrates the
building in order to achieve its goal.

Below: “The Baptism of Christ” A 1710 work by Dutch painter Aert de Gelder (1645–1727),
student of Rembrandt.
You can undoubtedly see a spaceship in the sky sending its rays to Christ and John the
Baptist.

Below: Enamel and gold miniature (15 x 11.5 cm), 15th century work, depicting St. George
killing the dragon. It is located at the National Museum of Art in Georgia. The figure on
the top right, refers to a UFO that seems to be overseeing the process.
Below: Painting on wood by an unknown artist. The work was found in Conti Dotremond
Castle in Belgium, and depicts Moses receiving the 10 Mosaic Law commandments, while
some unidentified flying objects (UFOs) are in the air.
