Features of the Microsoft UC Solution - OCS: IM			Talk with co-workers via Instant Messaging/ ‘IM’ Group Chat		Hold a group chat if you need several opinions (or 						approvals) Presence	Set your current status - Available, Do Not Disturb, Away, 					In a Call, or integrate with Outlook and your status is 						automatically  updated Notes		Leave a note as to what you’re doing Conference	Audio/Video anytime with unlimited recipients Voice		Either integrate OCS Voice with your current PBX or 						replace your PBX with full OCS Voice
IMPROVE Productivity – Communicate with co-workers via Instant Messaging Phone tag, never ending Voicemails, waiting on an email to give approval for an urgent job, waiting on an email response? Presence and IM allows you to see when your colleagues are available and gives you the ability to instantly send them a message for business critical decisions in a secure environment.  Huge increases in productivity and reductions in email usage has been seen across the board for all companies using IM & Presence for internal communications.
2.REDUCE Travel Expenses – with Web Conferencing & Document Collaboration For companies with Sales Reps - 43% of Rep’s time is spent travelling and 13% selling. 3.REDUCE Telephony Costs – OCS Voice All internal calls can be IP based and therefore be Free of Charge.  All outbound calls can be made via SIP Trunking, meaning very low call costs to any destination.  For multi-nationals, a full deployment will mean that all calls to any branch will be free of charge, resulting in huge savings on telephone charges.
4.REDUCE Hardware Costs – OCS Voice Option 1: Use OCS alongside your current telephone system.  As your hard phones need to be replaced, you can choose to roll out an OCS extension.   Option 2: Replace your current PABX with a full OCS deployment.  You will never need to purchase another telephone system again.  New site?  just purchase new licenses. This is a fully scalable option with minimal cost to add a new user.
5.IMPROVE Time Management with simple Diary Management – Using OCS with Exchange 2010 No need to log onto Outlook when out of the office or when travelling. Dial in from anywhere in the world and get access to your calender information.  Move appointment times, propose and send new times to recipients, listen to your diary plan for the week and manage with a few easy commands.
