9. EXPOSITORY/INFORMATIVE SPEECH
• To inform
• Provides knowledge, especially interesting
information
• The speaker’s aim is to help audience
understand the topic to allow them to make an
educated choice.
Examples:
Reports, lectures, demonstrations, marketing
presentations
10. PERSUASIVE SPEECH
• To convince the audience to change
their views or beliefs
Examples:
• Miting de Avance (Campaign period)
• Commencement Address
• Advertisements
11. ENTERTAINMENT SPEECH
• It is a speech that still informs or persuades but
this speech is cloaked with HUMOR .
• It has a main idea and the audience still learn
from you.
Examples:
Humorous storytelling
Stand-up comedy
Showbiz awards night

choose a video on a language you can
easily understand.
