Alana hears strange echoing sounds while walking with her friends in the woods. She seems scared and confused by what she heard. Her friends are concerned about her since she appears pale and has bruises on her neck. Later at home, Alana receives disturbing text messages from an unknown number instead of her friend. She becomes panicked and tries to block the number. When her boyfriend texts that he is coming to pick her up, she is relieved until she opens the front door to find a knife, and is then grabbed from behind by an unknown assailant while screaming.

1. TV DRAMA SCRIPT
EXT. WOODLAND PATH – AFTERNOON
ALANA, (17 years old) walks with her friends DANI, CHARLIE and ZAC, all
17 years old. Stopping in her tracks, ALANA hears echoing sounds, she
looks confused and scared as to what she has just heard.
ALANA
Are you hearing this?
Her friends, CHARLIE, DANI and ZAC also stop and look at ALANA,
baffled and confused.
DANI
Hearing what Larn? What are you talking about?
CHARLIE
Are you okay? What did you hear? You’ve gone pale.
ALANA
Oh nothing don’t worry, I thought I heard someone screaming, it’s
probably because I’m tired.
ZAC
Are you sure Alana? Dani and Charlie are right, what did you hear and
who gave you them bruises on your neck?
ALANA
Nothing okay?! It’s nothing, it’s my head playing me.
ALANA at the bottom of her house walkway, waves CHARLIE and DANI
off as they walk home. SHE walks up to her doorstep and opens her door
(EXT. TO INT.) and takes her shoes off.
ALANA
Mum I’m home!
ALANA runs up the stairs to her room. She walks in and sits on her bed to
turn her laptop on and starts typing. She then goes to reach for her
makeup on her bed stand and proceeds to do her makeup. She gets a text
from DANI.

2. DANI
(Text Message) ‘Hey girl, what u wearing tonight?xx’
DANI’s message is DISTORTED and replaced by a text message from
ANON, reading:
‘Don’t play your mind, you know I’m real ’.
ALANA panics and tries to block the number.
SCENE FADE CUTS TO ALANA, who has finished getting ready for the
party and opens her bedroom door. SHE RUNS downstairs with her shoes
and bag, puts shoes on. ALANA receives another text message. With
worry in her face, SHE realises it is her BOYFRIEND, reading:
‘On my way to get you babe, bet you look amazing ;)xx’
KNOCK AT FRONT DOOR, ALANA looks CONFUSED but opens the door.
ALANA looks down to see a KNIFE. SHE pokes her head out of her door.
ALANA
Yeah very funny joke you childish rats!
INTENSE MUSIC
ALANA is grabbed by the neck from behind by ANON.
SCENE ENDS WITH ALANA’S SCREAMS.
