he Mars 2020 Perseverance mission is NASA’s next mission to Mars as well as
being the most complex and scientifically advanced robotic mission sent to
the Red Planet.
The $2.4 Billion Mars Perseverance rover is a flagship mission dedicated to the
search for signs of life beyond Earth, as part of NASA’s Mars Exploration Program,
a long-term effort of robotic exploration of the Red Planet.
The Perseverance Mars 2020 mission will search for signs of ancient microbial life,
characterize Mars’ climate and geology, collect carefully selected samples for
future return to Earth, and pave the way for human exploration of the Red Planet
as soon as the 2030s.
Perseverance will also ferry a separate technology experiment to the surface of
Mars — a helicopter named Ingenuity, the first aircraft to fly in a controlled way
on another planet.
Launch is now targeted for a launch opportunity in the July/August timeframe
when Earth and Mars are aligned in good positions relative to each other for
landing on Mars.
The car-sized Perseverance Mars 2020 rover is targeted for liftoff on NET 30 July
2020 aboard a United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V 541 rocket from Space
Launch Complex 41 on Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida.

Mission to Mars: The Thought Robot Proposal
As humans have an inalienable right to explore the universe and how we got here. It is of the
utmost importance from a humanitarian standpoint of evolution to be the revolution of new
thoughts and ideas, for in these moments in which we create historical time, we are here to
discover why we exist to “spawn a new era of technology and development in the same way that
Newton's laws of gravity led to basic equations of mechanics that made the industrial revolution
possible.”(2)This keeps our search for civilizations, new species, contact with others in our
universe or beyond, so imperative to persist in a passionate quest, from theories, to proof, and
built upon the mathematics, physics, technology, and engineering, and science. Before you
today, I ask that you take my ideas into consideration, as they are a part of me, “Why not women
on Mars?”(1), and let us create an interplanetary gravitational singularity for the very little time
we bend on occasion.
Having an Intelligent Rover to be launched from earth with an astronaut crew is the
primary focus for our NASA and International Partnerships to gain universal respect and
contribute to the history of science exploration in our solar system of the Milky Way galaxy. Our
objectives are for Mars Travel to be a safe, fun, exciting travel experience to and from Mars with
an Intelligent Rover and an astronaut crew, while conducting research. Some of that research
includes a samples collection which will drill under dry ice, collecting samples under the dry ice
2. from various points of interest, and storing for return to ISS, then Earth. Communications
through the latest technology and satellites and logistics to transmit data, take photos, and
building for a station for future missions.
Time Line: The Thought Robot
Launch from Earth - May 2018 Destination Mars Landing July 2018
Duration on Mars – July 2018 (2 years tentatively) July 2020
Return Launch from Mars- July 2020 Destination Earth- September 2020
Precursor mission includes testing on the moon, commercialization of travel in the
interplanetary system to offset costs, “Encourage more foreign collaboration” (4) by having
international partnerships, & NASA. Precursor mission can occur any time prior to the launch
from earth May 2018 that allows ample time for data collection and safety protocol.
The Thought Robot: It’s all in the details
The Thought Robot Rover comes equipped with cognitive capabilities (8), working memory
from previous missions, safety protocols for human interaction, weather sensory lasers,
communication abilities, drilling components, big dog feet for rough terrain, with the conversion
to wheel bottoms depending on surface for desert. Its cognitive abilities will be able to detect
emotions from the crew for the ability to keep the crew focused on the mission. Big Dog (3) feet
will be able to move with harsh conditions of terrain, and wheels will keep the mobility of our
instrument on course during the flat surface, while the weather sensory perception will enable
our robotic mission to stay ahead of patterns emerging unexpectedly.
3. Landing North and South poles for drilling under ice, additional points of interest, as
determined by a team that can give sufficient theory and data as to where the best locations are
for building a space station on Mars. The Thought Robot will also be able to detect where the
conditions are best climatically and safe for the crew, as well as drill under the ice, collect
samples, as outlined in his schematics, and design.
Summary of Experiments
A number of safety experiments will take place for travel. From precursor mission on the
moon for testing, to the launch of earth that will include the test four nuclear reactors to power a
VASIMR®
rocket (4), guiding our Thought Robot with a crew through escape velocity (5), to the
safe landing on mars, a fun filled environment with multiple experiments for the 2-4 year
duration on mars, as well as a safe journey to an orbital point of reach within the ISS, if it is in
operation, or a new station equivalent to task, as a safety precaution to be double checked
medically and debriefed upon the changes of earth since the mission.
Experiments for Duration on Mission to Mars:
Converting chemicals from mars such as perchlorate (ClO4-) into energy, fuel, samples
collections, test our intelligence with working memory on previous missions, weather patterns
sensory, blue ray goggles, big dog feet (3), drilling under ice, exploration, plasma engine, effects
of escape velocity on humanoids, and finally effects of escape velocity on humans.
Experiment 1: Blu-Ray Goggles
4. Blu-ray goggles will be to change the background if the primarily orange surface of mars so
that there is not a lack of sleep for the astronauts/cosmonauts on the manned mission. It will test
the overall brains capability, retina/eye area, and part of the brain that is connected to the eyes,
ability for being on mars in an earth simulated environment of blue.
Experiment 2: The Thought Robot:
Humanoid robotic mission has an experiment on intelligence, working memory, weather
sensory laser, safety measures, drilling, entertainment, building a station, and communication.
Testing our intelligence with working memory on previous missions will occur to lead us to
experimenting with electrical and mechanical engineering capabilities mixed with computer
science applications for programming data from previous missions as working memory to
allocate humanoid robots with cognitive abilities to use the working memory as protection and
detection for changes in weather climate, atmospheric pressure, storms, as well as provide a safe
companion and entertainment for the manned mission, and assist with converting perchlorate
(ClO4-) into a refuel source for itself.
The humanoid Thought Robot is an intelligent and cognitive rover considerate of human
conditioning and emotions for safety protocol. “Reverse Engineer the Brain…trying the opposite
approach: taking apart the brain neuron by neuron…then running a simulation of these neurons
on a huge computer.” (6) Supplies can be delivered by a partnership with someone like SpaceX
(9) on a precursor mission to land on mars first to wait for the manned mission to collect data to
send back to Earth, so that we can prepare for the manned mission. Perchlorate into energy will
be a realistic approach to converting energy from fuel collections when it is needed.
5. Experiment 3: Plasma Engine
The experiment for the VASIMR®
plasma engine will test how getting to Mars in 39 days effect
the humanoid and human body response during escape velocity (5). We will have four nuclear
reactors to power it, with international partnerships.
Experiment 4- Suits that Ace our Space
Suits that can withstand escape velocity and harsh Mars conditions, will be made of more
suitable material, that can take out the carbon dioxide, and vacuum itself, and “The Z-1 space
suit has a rear entry hatch that can latch to a spaceship or rover, eliminating the need for an
airlock” (7), in the future, we will not need one so bulky, and will have material that is not only
resistant to conditions outside of the suit, but fabric that is able to vacuum itself, and prevent
decay from a type of reverse genetic algorithm concept(11) to use the opposite of what decays
us, and find a way to extend the life, within the fabric of the suit, that takes into the
accountability our composition, so it can regulate our temperature and blood flow, as well as
resist the bone loss density from zero gravity. So a suit that could also help feed our body, not
just decompose it similar to the form a mushroom burial suit (10), but used to prolong our life
conditions in outer space and one earth.

and further explore our intergalactic frontier.
